In winter, the Falkert is characterised by a small but nice ski area with a ski school for young and old. This is located about 500m from the house.
In summer you have the option to buy a "Kärnten Card" in the surrounding area to participate in many tourist attractions. With this card, you get reduced conditions in various facilities.
Getting there
It is recommended that you arrive by car. In addition, snow chains should be carried along during the winter months (access roads are cleared).

Wir (2 Ehepaare, mit 2 Hunden) waren 14 Tage auf der Heidialm und sehr glücklich. Wunderschöne Wanderungen sind direkt ab der Hütte möglich, Falkertsee 15min mit vielen Almen/Gaststätten, Falkertspitz 2,5 Std., Zirbenhütte, 1/2 Std, herrlicher Rundweg durch einen Lärchenwald "ohne" Höhenmeter, es ist für jeden was dabei. Zum nächsten Supermarkt sind es ca. 10 Autominuten nur den Berg runter. Die Hütte o. das Haus ist sehr, sehr gut ausgestattet, Küche komplett mit reichlich (Koch-) Geschirr, Besteck und Handwerkszeug das auch für ambitionierte Köche alles Wesentliche bietet. Alle Geräte sind hochwertig und funktionieren einwandfrei. I-Net funktioniert prima, Smart-TV vorhanden, einloggen, Netflix guggen auf der Alm, kein Problem. Liegestühle, Sonnenschirme, Grill, Bankauflagen etc., etc. sind auch reichlich und in gutem Zustand vorhanden. Die Matrazen sind gut. Top Sauberkeit, top Lage. Ein Ferienhaus das in jeder Hinsicht positiv überrascht. Die Bilder im Internet entsprechen der Wahrheit. Der Holzofen funktioniert bestens, Anfang September hatten wir den Ofen schon mehrfach am Abend genutzt. Wir wollen wieder kommen!
