Getting there
When arriving by car, it is recommended to take the ferry from Royan (Bac Royan).
The crossing to Le Verdon takes only about 25 minutes and is a nice change after a long journey.
The ferry starts at Royan - Point de Grave.
In the high season (mid-June to the end of August), the ferry runs at 30 to 45-minute intervals.
To take the ferry in Royan, you must leave the A10 at exit number 35 (Saintes / Royan).
