Cancellation and Costs
1. The guest is entitled to cancel the booking free of charge within seven days after Vrijheid aan de Kust has confirmed the booking in writing.
2. In the event of a cancellation by the guest after the period mentioned in paragraph 1, the guest owes Vrijheid aan de Kust a cancellation fee. This fee consists of a fixed amount for administrative costs of €30, and a portion of the agreed price:
• in case of cancellation more than three months before the arrival date, 25% of the agreed price;
• in case of cancellation within three to two months before the arrival date, 50% of the agreed price;
• in case of cancellation within two months to one month before the arrival date, 75% of the agreed price;
• in case of cancellation within one month and 1 week before the arrival date, 90% of the agreed price;
• in case of cancellation within one week before the arrival date, 100% of the agreed price.
3. The cleaning surcharge is included in the agreed price. The following surcharges are not included in the agreed price and will be fully refunded in the event of a cancellation: tourist tax, laundry package, bed linen, towels, dog surcharge, early check-in, late check-out.
4. Bicycles, hand carts, and grills are rented by the guest through an external provider. These can be cancelled by the guest free of charge up to one week before arrival.
5. The guest can, if desired, take out their own travel and/or cancellation insurance, the costs of which are to be borne by the guest. Vrijheid aan de Kust is in no way responsible or liable for this.
6. In the unlikely event that a holiday accommodation desired or booked by the guest is not available as indicated in the reservation or booking confirmation, Vrijheid aan de Kust will offer a suitable alternative in another holiday accommodation. If the tenant does not agree with the offered alternative, the guest will be refunded the rent already paid in full.
7. Vrijheid aan de Kust offers the possibility of free cancellation (with the exception of the booking fee) in the case of travel restrictions imposed by the authorities in connection with Covid-19, up to fourteen days before the arrival date. The following travel restrictions apply: 1: Closed border in the country of origin or destination; 2: Mandatory quarantine upon arrival in the destination country or upon return in the country of origin in connection with a negative travel advisory from the authorities. 3: These travel restrictions must be mentioned on the official websites of both the Dutch government and the country of origin. In case of cancellation within fourteen days, the guest will receive a voucher. (This applies to bookings made before 01.06.2021.)
8. The guest and all fellow travelers must comply with the Covid-19 guidelines at all times, including those imposed by the authorities or the RIVM [National Institute for Public Health and the Environment]. The same applies to compliance with quarantine obligations upon arrival at the destination or upon return, also in connection with government travel advice. If necessary, the guest or a fellow traveler should be able to provide proof from a general practitioner or health office that he/she has tested negative for Covid-19. The relevant information must be completed in full by the guest and the traveler immediately after booking in the customer portal of Vrijheid aan de Kust.

Wir waren vom 3.9. - 10.9.23 in dem Ferienhaus Guja.
Auf Grund der Internetbewertungen waren wir erst etwas skeptisch ob wir das Haus buchen sollen.
Da ich z.Zt. etwas gehbehindert bin, suchten wir aber eine Unterkunft von der aus das Meer und der Ort gut zu erreichen sind.
Wir waren aber angenehm überrascht! Die Vermieter waren sehr freundlich, das Häuschen war blitzsauber und wir haben sehr gut geschlafen. Der Urlaub war für uns sehr erholsam und wir werden gern einmal wiederkommen.

Wir waren 3 Personen, 2 Hunde (Wie gebucht).Die Eigentümerin stand schon vor der Tür und fragte erschrocken: ZWEI Hunde???Als nächstes wurden wir BELEHRT, dass die Hunde nicht nach oben dürfen. Eine unangenehme, kalte Art wurde uns entgegen gebracht, wir nahmen es freundlich hin.Wir bekamen einen Abend Besuch von zwei Freunden aus Julianadorp zum Grillen (Lt. Vermietbüro erlaubt). Die Eigentümerin kam dann einfach durch das Tor unseres Hauses in den Garten und brachte uns ihren Unmut entgegen, bezgl. des Besuchs und des Grills.Eine Unverschämtheit einfach so rein zu platzen.Der gleiche Kontrollzwang beim Auszug! Sie kontrollierte den Gartentisch,die obere Etage,etc. und wir mussten warten! Haus: Zu klein für 4Pers., kein Backofen,schreckliche rutschige Matratzen,kein Waschbecken im WC Raum(unhygienisch).
