Several golf courses around Vilamoura, Quinta do Lago and Vale do Lobo are easy to reach by car. The Algarve coast offers great options for beach days, water sports and surfing. The countryside around Loulé is also ideal for hiking and cycling. Loulé itself is well worth a visit – especially the weekly market (popular and often visited by coach tours). For shopping, the Designer Outlet Algarve is nearby.
Holiday destination
The villa is set in a quiet location above Loulé and is an ideal base for beach days, golf and day trips along the Algarve. Loulé town centre (approx. 10 min) as well as Faro and Vilamoura (approx. 20 min each) are easily reached by car – a rental car is recommended. Several golf courses around Vilamoura, Quinta do Lago and Vale do Lobo are within a short drive.
Getting there
Faro Airport (FAO) is approx. 23 km away (around 20–30 minutes depending on traffic). We recommend a rental car for exploring the Algarve comfortably.

Die Villa Casa Monte Algarve ist ein wahres Urlaubsparadies, das unsere Erwartungen voll erfüllt hat. Die gepflegte Ausstattung lässt keine Wünsche offen. In dem wunderschön angelegten Garten mit verschiedenen Sitzgruppen auf unterschiedlichen Ebenen sowie einem traumhaften Blick bis hin zum Meer ist Erholung garantiert. Wir haben uns vom ersten bis zum letzten Moment sehr wohl gefühlt. Vielen Dank für den außergewöhnlich aufmerksamen Empfang sowie die nette und unkomplizierte Kommunikation. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Wir haben uns auf Anhieb sehr wohl gefühlt.
Es war sauber, die Einrichtung gepflegt und hochwertig.
Auch die Küche war sehr gut ausgestattet, sodass wir uns ohne Einschränkung versorgen konnten.
Wir hatten Probleme mit dem Strom (Sicherung war nicht sichtbar rausgesprungen). Wir haben uns an die Vermieter gewendet und sie haben uns gut angeleitet.
Wir waren auch vom Garten und vor allem dem Ausblick begeistert. Wenn es vom Wetter möglich war, haben wir uns gerne in diesem aufgehalten.
Den Pool haben wir gegen Aufpreis beheizen lassen, das Wasser war angenehm warm und ein Highlight für die Kinder.
Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen
