Cancellation policy
If you cancel up to 6 months before the trip begins, the deposit will be refunded and there's no cancellation fee. Less than 6 months & up to 3 months you'll pay 25% of the rental price, up to 2 months: 50%, 1 days: 75%, 14-0 days prior to arrival: the full rental price. A cancellation must be made in writing and needs to be confirmed. You should have a valid reason. We therefore recommend that you take out a travel cancellation insurance.

The villa is located in Porto Ottiolu, a little village with a chic marina, bars, restaurants, supermarket, tennis court and soccer field.
The villa is situated at the edge of the village, about 500m from the centre, at the end of a cul-de-sac, absolutely quiet and with an unspoilt view of the Parco Marino Tavolara / the white sandy beaches of Ottiolu and Budoni, the entrance to the marina, so you can watch the sailing boats and yachts glide past from the house. A small path leads from the garden to the bay, approx. 100m (3-5-min. walk) away.
The bay can only be reached via this path or by boat, thus it has the atmosphere of a little private bay - even during peak season in August you'll be alone there most of the time, and your dog can run free.
Getting there
Book a flight to Olbia Costa Smeralda. I will pick you up there with one of my rental vehicles/they are parked there.
Vehicle with 7-10 seats, Golf Convertible, BMW Roadster, Land Rover Defender and motorcycles.
You can take the ferry from Livorno or Genoa with Moby Lines Sardina Ferries and the Grimald Line (usually the cheapest) to Olbia Golfo Aranci or Porto Torres (approx. 100 km). Sardinia is a large island!!! Cagliari is about 250 km away, Alghero 150 km.

Wir waren 2 Familien mit 6 Kids (7-15 Jahre) & hatten eine wunderbare Zeit in der Villa. Das Grundstück, der Pool, die vielen Sitzgelegenheiten & vor allem die Lage sind herrlich. Auch die Ausstattung (Küchenmaschinen, Töpfe/Pfannen etc.) ist richtig gut.
Fritz & Evi sind tolle Gastgeber, immer erreichbar sowie überaus freundlich und hilfsbereit.
Hier und da mussten wir zwar mal handwerklich "Hand anlegen", wenn zB eine Sicherung "rausgeflogen" ist oder ein Wasserrohr verrutscht war, aber das war wenig störend - darauf muss man sich halt einlassen. Es ist keine Luxus-Villa, aber genau das macht den Charme aus.
Hervorzuheben sind die kleinen Wege zu Buchten o.Hafen - diese laden immer zu schönen Spaziergängen ein.
Wir sind hoch zufrieden & kommen gerne wieder.

Wir, 3 Familien mit 6 Erwachsene und 4 Kinder im Alter von 3-15 haben im Sommer 2021 wundervolle und erholsame 14 Tage Urlaub in der Villa Castel Smeralda verbracht. Die Unterkunft ist luxuriös und lässt kaum Wünsche offen. Die Lage der Villa am Ende einer kleinen Straße ist absolut ruhig, dahinter beginnt ein Naturschutzgebiet. Das Haus ist sehr gepflegt und mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Der Ausblick von der Terrasse auf das Meer ist der Wahnsinn und mit der Ausstattung wie Pool, Whirlpool, mehreren Außenduschen (auch Warmwasser), Sonnenliegen, Hängematten, Poolhaus und Grills hat man wirklich alles, um zu entspannen. Evi und Fritz sind extrem nette Gastgeber, die mit ihren wertvollen Tipps zu Ausflügen, Stränden und Restaurants zu einem rundum gelungenen Urlaub beigetragen haben.
