You can get to the romantic old town of Nuremberg comfortably and cheaply with the VGN local transport from Ramsberg train station in just under an hour! Numerous museums, the imperial castle and the zoo are attractive in Bavaria's second largest city. Trade fair visitors can reach the Nuremberg Trade Fair in 40 minutes by car. A day trip to the Playmobil Fun Park in Zirndorf (50 minutes by car) is very popular. Legoland or the Peppa Pig Park in Günzburg can be reached by car in 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Holiday destination
In winter it is tranquil here, ideal for relaxing walks by the water, in the forest, on the Limes or for visits to the nearby Franconian cities: Weißenburg, Ansbach, Ellingen, Bamberg, Nuremberg and much more. In summer the bear dances on the bike paths, the water and on the MS Brombachsee. A number of restaurants in the bathing bay and in the town center make it possible to visit a restaurant in a cozy atmosphere. In the neighborhood you will find a guest house with breakfast and bakery sales, In the main town of Pleinfeld (5km) you will find all the shops you need for everyday life.
