Alles ist vorhanden, also alles in Ordnung, nur die Gartenmöbel könnten besser sein. Aber die Umgebung macht das wieder wett. Ideal zum Radfahren und Spazierengehen.

Wie schon im letzten Jahr haben wir unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Es ist dort wunderbar ruhig, und die Menschen sind sehr freundlich und angenehm; man kommt schnell mit ihnen ins Gespräch. Wir unternahmen lange Spaziergänge in der Umgebung, sahen Rehe, viele Greifvögel und Wildschweine und besuchten mehrere hübsche Städtchen. Als wir einmal einen Arzt brauchten, half uns Jean-Luc hervorragend, indem er einen Termin bei seinem Hausarzt vereinbarte und uns dorthin begleitete. Wir wussten weder, dass in Nouart früher Eisenerz abgebaut wurde und dort Hochöfen standen, noch dass sich gegenüber der Kirche ein groÃ_x009f_es Kloster befand, noch dass die Kirche in einem Nachbardorf während des Krieges beim Rückzug der deutschen Truppen nach der Ardennenoffensive schwer beschossen wurde. Die Spuren sind noch immer deutlich sichtbar.
