The house is situated in a very tranquil, rural neighbourhood in a small hamlet 4 km away from Grožnjan. Owing to its location on the green hills in the inland of Istria, a lovely cool wind blows often in the midsummer. Wherever you look, you are surrounded by green scenery. It’s the perfect place to take a break from everyday life.
Despite its peaceful position, the house offers an ideal starting point for trips. The seaside can be reached by car in as little as 20 minutes. The Istrian cities such as Motovun or Buzet, which were once Medieval hilltop strongholds, are not located a great distance away either. The closest convenience stores are found in the town of Buje.
The house is located on the Istrian “Olive Oil Trail”. The surroundings offer a great deal of culinary highlights like famous Istrian truffles, Boskarin veal meat, wild Istrian asparagus, locally produced wine and olive oil. The nearby gorgeous Medieval stronghold of Grožnjan is well-known as “a village of artists” owing to its numerous galleries. It addition, it has a good culinary offer. A Jazz Festival well-known among insiders takes place there each summer.

Host informationWe are a family from Germany. We are private owners. This is the only house we rent. On location a professional holiday home management takes care of the house and the guests. On the platform we are still new. On other platforms we were rated very well from our guests in terms of service, cleanliness and the facilities.

Nach einer Woche Segeln in der Kvaner Bucht hatten wir mit 2 Paaren dieses wundervollen sehr gepflegte Ferienhaus gemietet.
Frei von irgendwelchen Terminen war der Schlüssel für uns hinterlegt und wir konnten ein sehr sauberes, toll eingerichtetes sowie geschmackvolles Haus übernehmen.
Im Pool kristallklares Wasser, welches durch eine starke Filteranlage ohne Chemie auskam, super eingerichtete Küche , bequeme Liegen und Gartenstühle , alles perfekt.
Die auf dem Grundstück stehende Bäume boten uns an den heißen Tagen einen natürlichen Schatten.
Dieses Haus können wir auf jeden Fall weiter empfehlen.
