Holiday destination

Sao Miguel has lush Mediterranean vegetation, quiet sandy beaches, cliffs and volcanic lakes - all around an earthly paradise. Our house is located in the western part of the island, above the small fishing village of Mosteiros, close to the beautiful crater lake Sete Cidades. The village of Mosteiros with its sandy beach and natural swimming pool or the crater lake can be reached on foot in 15 - 20 minutes, by car it is a stone's throw. The capital Ponta Delgada is 30 minutes away by car.

Getting there

The Sata offers direct flights from April-November from Frankfurt (Main, Germany). From November 2008 Airberlin flys also direct to Sao Miguel from Nurnberg. You can also fly via Lisbon or Porto, both cities are worthwile to see. The taxi needs about 30 minutes from the airport to the house. The distance costs approx. € 25. We can arrange a pick up for you if you like.

Wir haben erstmals zu dritt mit 17-jährigen Teenie auf den Azoren Urlaub gemacht und sind von der Insel und dem tollen Haus mehr als begeistert. Mit viel Liebe zum Detail und deutscher Gründlichkeit wurde aus diesem Haus ein ganz toller Ort zur Erholung geschaffen. Wir waren restlos begeistert und haben entgegen erster Bedenken weder Spül- noch Waschmaschine vermisst. Vielen Dank an die tollen Gastgeber! Wir kommen gerne wieder!
