Holiday destination
Polchow - an old fishermen's valley situated at the "Jasmunder Bodden" in the centre of Ruegen. From here you have direct access to the "Jasmunder Bodden". Here, directly located at the water you can enjoy unique sundowns. The little beach at the "Bodden" is only 150m apart. By bike you only need 15 minutes to the Baltic Sea at the Schaabe to Glowe.
Chalk coast, Binz, Sassnitz or Kap Arkona can be reached quite comfortable.
Getting there
Via the motorway A20 you can reach Stralsund directly from Prenzlau (A11) or Lübeck (A1) or Rostock (A19). Arrived at Rügen you follow the B96 in direction to Sassnitz. At Sagard you turn left on the traffic light in direction to Altenkirchen and JasMar Therme. Passing the supermarket "Aldi". After 2 km you turn left to Polchow and you drive down through the village until the water. Just before the left turn you can go left - there is a gravel road at its end there you see the yellow Schwedenhaus - welcome!

Wir haben 2 sehr schöne Wochen in dem Ferienbungalow verbracht. Es ist alles vorhanden und das auch in ausreichender Menge. Das Haus war sehr schön dekoriert, sauber und es gab sogar einen kleinen Willkommensgruß. Das hat uns wirklich gefallen, vielen Dank dafür! Der Ort ist klein, fein und ländlich gelegen. Zum Bodden ist es nur ein Katzensprung. Herzlichen Dank auch an die Vermieterin, Frau Dutt-Reiser ist sehr bemüht, dass man einen schönen Aufenthalt hat und dass alles möglichst reibungslos klappt. Die theoretische Organisation in punkto Datenübermittlung zwecks Anreise und Vorbereitung der Kurkarten, Bettwäsche - in Menge und Ausstattung- klappte zwar nicht wirklich, dass lag aber nicht an den Vermietern, sondern ehr an der Umsetzung vor Ort. Das sind aber nur Kleinigkeiten.

Schöne, entspannte Erholungstage gehabt, abends im Garten oder auf der Terrasse bei Grill und Sonnenuntergang am Bodden die Ruhe genossen - wer Natur und auch mal einen Gruppe Gänse, die über Polchow zum Wasser fliegen, mag, ist hier genau richtig. Räume sinnvoll und mit Geschmack eingerichtet. Das Wohnzimmer ist schön groß und man verfügt auch mit 6 Personen über genügend Platz.
Der Gastgeberkontakt war unkompliziert und hilfsbereit bei Fragen.
