In Gruissan, you’ll also find restaurants, a casino and a lively weekly market three times a week.
Holiday destination
Les Ayguades, one of the four districts of Gruissan in southern France, is located right on the Mediterranean Sea. The vast sandy beach, Plage de Mateille, with its gentle slope into the water, is ideal for families with small children. Bakeries, small grocery stores, restaurants, and a bike rental shop are all within a few minutes’ walk, and water sports enthusiasts will find a water ski lift right in Les Ayguades. At the Balnéo water park, you can relax in the pleasantly warm water while the little ones have fun in the water slide paradise.
The historic center of Gruissan-Village, with its picturesque alleys, the “Tour Barberousse,” small shops, weekly market, and diverse dining options, is about a five-minute drive away. Be sure to visit the bustling marina with its extraordinary architecture blending modern design and Mediterranean flair, as well as its trendy boutiques and Mediterranean restaurants, bistros, and bars! Street performers and open-air events provide daily entertainment in the summer.

Wir waren schon oft in dieser Ferienwohnung und kommen immer wieder gerne zurück, mal als Paar, mal mit Freunden oder der Familie. Die Wohnung bietet Platz für bis zu sechs Personen. Da wir gelegentlich auch von dort arbeiten, schätzen wir den guten Empfang und die stabile Internetverbindung sehr. Mein persönliches Highlight ist der Balkon mit Blick auf Strand und Meer. Dort zu frühstücken und den Sonnenaufgang zu beobachten, ist für mich jedes Mal der perfekte Start in den Tag. Der Strand liegt direkt vor der Tür und die Lage ist ideal für Ausflüge. Besonders gerne besuchen wir die Märkte in Gruissan und Narbonne oder gehen in der Clape wandern. Wer eine Ferienwohnung direkt am Strand mit Meerblick und vielen Möglichkeiten für Ausflüge sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Ein Träumchen!
