Our holiday home is situated right at the edge of the forest and is just a few minutes' walk from Lake Wörth and 15 minutes on foot from the casino.
Lake Wörth is a paradise for water sports enthusiasts, bathers, and sun worshippers.
Tennis courts, windsurfing, sailing, water skiing, and riding schools, as well as golf courses, and forest and hiking trails are located in the vicinity.
Schloss Velden is located on the western shore of Lake Wörth in the municipality of Velden am Wörther See in Carinthia.
Getting there
From Villach:
Coming from the motorway (exit Velden West), at the roundabout take the exit for Velden. After about 1 km, turn right past the Unicredit Bank. Then go straight along the lakeside promenade, up the hill, and keep left after the large parking lot.
You will cross the Süduferstraße and after about 200m you will see our house on the left side.
From Klagenfurt:
Coming from the motorway (exit Velden Ost), drive along Klagenfurter Straße towards Velden. Pass the casino, turn left onto Corso, and then go straight along the lakeside promenade, up the hill, and keep left after the large parking lot.
You will cross the Süduferstraße and after about 200m you will see our house on the left side.

Die Fewo bietet alles was für einen entspannten erholsamen Urlaub notwendig ist, beste und sehr saubere Ausstattung, ein ganz toller großzügiger Balkon, viel Ruhe, Nähe zum See und auch zum Zentrum, reiche Auswahl an Lokalen, die fußläufig gut erreichbar sind ( Gehzeit zwischen 5 und 20 Minuten)
