Adeje is constantly growing and new residential buildings and apartment complexes are constantly being built. The old town enchants with typical Canarian houses, narrow streets and village squares and avenues lined with laurel trees. In the center of the old town is the church of Santa Ursula, which is well worth seeing. A range of restaurants, shops and bars can be found around the church square. The municipality of Adeje also includes two beautiful beaches of Torviscas and Fañabe. They're not as crowded as those in the tourist hotspots of Los Cristianos and Las Americas. Both beaches are easily accessible and flat and especially suitable for children. On the beaches of Adeje you can practice different types of water sports.
