As the name suggests, our holiday apartment is located a little away from the Haldern village centre, directly next to the Haldern forest. Haldern is a district of Rees. From here, cyclists can easily explore the Lower Rhine. Varied cycling routes through scenic landscapes, historic towns, and lively villages are easily accessible from the apartment.
The gently rolling landscape of the Lower Rhine is ideal for hiking. You can even follow the Way of St. James through former moorland and colourful lake scenery.
Getting there
Take the A3 exit at Hamminkeln towards Rees, and then turn right.
Next, take the A57 exit at Sonsbeck towards Kalkar/Rees, and follow the signs to the Rhine.

Wir kamen hier am 03.04. an. Die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin war sehr herzlich. Wir sind hier mit einem Willkommensgruß begrüßt worden. Die Ferienwohnung ist sehr toll ausgestattet, mit Liebe zum Detail. Wir werden hier auf jeden Fall wieder buchen.
