Holiday destination
Holzhausen is the picturesque district of Utting on the western shore of Lake Ammersee. The Ammersee, once dismissed as a “farmer’s lake” located next to the more elegant Starnberger See, has long since become a real insider tip. Here you will find peace, originality, agriculture, tradition, and culture. Holzhausen itself is a renowned artists’ village with plenty of mysterious nooks and crannies.
Getting there
Are you travelling by train? Utting has a train station on the Schongau line. Utting stop.
By car? On the A96, take the Greifenberg exit. Continue on the country road towards Dießen, and take the Holzhausen exit.
By plane? We will be happy to pick you up, or you can rent a car.

Im Corona-Jahr 2020 haben wir uns kurzfristig entschlossen, ein paar Tage (6) Urlaub am Ammersee zu verbringen. Im Internet sind wir auf diese Ferienwohnung aufmerksam geworden. Buchung, Mietvertrag, Bezahlung etc. erfolgte problemlos und unkompliziert. Frau von Thülen (sehr sympatisch und freundlich) hat uns empfangen und die Wohnung gezeigt. (Traum)-Ferienwohnung absolut authentisch wie auf Bildern im Internet präsentiert. Utting ist ein zauberhafter Ort zum Erholen mit vielen Freizeitangeboten (Segeln, Wassersport, Dampferfahrt). München und Augsburg in 40 Min. , Landsberg am Lech in 20 Min. mit dem Auto erreichbar. Trotz eingeschränktem Gastro-Betrieb war das Angebot sehr abwechslungs-reich. Wir hatten einen tollen Urlaub!
Deutschland ist auch eine Reise wert!!!!
