The West Frisian Island Ameland is a perfect holiday destination for families, active tourists and for those who want to relax from the hustle and bustle. The holiday flat is close to the beach and set amidst the dunes in the comfortable building complex OSTREA and therefore a perfect starting point to discover Ameland, either on foot or by bicycle. Past the beaches and dunes and breathing the fresh sea air, you will feel well at once. Nearby are two forests where you can go for nice walks. The nearby village of Nes has many cafes, restaurants, shops and pretty clinker brick homes. Besides an unspoiled nature, Ameland offers many leisure activities. Trips with covered wagons or boat trips to the seal colonies are perfect for families. The nature reserve "De Hon" can be explored with the Strandexpress. The lovely landscape is well-suited for many outdoor sports, such as surfing, parachuting, golf, riding, tennis, swimming etc. Many interesting museums, e. g. the museum of natural history with viewpoint, or the visit to the lighthouse are worth a visit, too. In addition to that, there are numerous cultural and traditional events.

A. by car via Leeuwarden, Stiens to Holwerd (ferry dock); ferry to Ameland (approx. 45 minutes) b. by railway to Leeuwarden, directly from the rail station with the bus number 66 to Ameland/Holwerd and there with the ferry to Ameland

Bestens ausgestattete Wohnung, sehr großzügig geschnitten, bequeme Betten und Sofas, sehr großer Balkon mit Strandkorb und einem wunderschönen Ausblick in die Dünen, herrlich ruhig gelegen, schnelle Erreichbarkeit des Strandes und der Fahrradwege, wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt und bestens erholt. Schnelle und freundliche Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin, wir kommen gerne wieder.
