The chalet for 4 people is located 3 kilometers south of De Koog and 2 kilometers from the beach at the edge of the forest. There are many hiking trails on the island, which are marked by signposts. A widespread network of paths runs through dunes and forest. Here, one can easily be surprised by a blooming heath field.

Getting there

By car: Coming from Utrecht towards Amsterdam, take the exit towards Zaanstad. Then take the A7 towards Leeuwarden until the Den Oever exit. From there to Den Helder, the ferry port is signposted. On Texel: From the ferry port, head north on the Pontweg (N501). At roundabout 10, turn right and continue to follow the traffic signs to De Waal. Just before leaving Den Burg, turn right onto Waalderstraat. At the distinctive round glass building of OmnyAcc â€“ on your left â€“ make a sharp left onto Abbewaal. We are right at the end, until you can go no further, on the round square to the left of Gamma. Only our own website has an up-to-date occupancy plan.
