You can take advantage of various services directly on the park premises, such as bicycle rental, delivery service, or the aforementioned laundromat. Moreover, you are already quite close to the beach and just a few minutes away from the Nationaalpark Duinen van Texel. A lot of forest and nature surrounds you here, and if you ever feel like a bit of vitality, you're not far from the little town of De Koog, where you can indulge in dining, shopping, or simply enjoy a nice night out.
Getting there
By car:
Coming from Utrecht towards Amsterdam, take the exit towards Zaanstad.
Then take the A7 towards Leeuwarden up to the Den Oever exit.
From there to Den Helder, the ferry port is signposted.
On Texel:
From the ferry port, head north on the Pontweg (N501). At roundabout 10, turn right and continue to follow the traffic signs to De Waal. Just before leaving Den Burg, turn right into Waalderstraat. At the distinctive round glass building of OmnyAcc – on your left – make a sharp left onto Abbewaal. We are at the very end, until you can go no further, on the round square to the left of Gamma.
