Cancellation policy

Cancellation of the accommodation contract (1) Both contracting parties can withdraw from the hosting agreement by means of an unilateral statement without charging/paying cancellation fees if the withdrawal is made no later than 3 months before the agreed arrival date. A general processing fee of EUR 20 applies per apartment booked. Written notice of cancellation must be received by the contracting party no later than three months before the guest’s scheduled arrival date. (2) The accommodation contract may be terminated by either party through a unilateral declaration up to one month before the guest’s scheduled arrival date. In this case, a cancellation fee amounting to 40% of the agreed room rate will apply. Written notice of cancellation must be received by the contracting party no later than one month before the guest’s scheduled arrival date. If the accommodation is cancelled within one month of the scheduled arrival date, 90% of the agreed room rate will be charged. (3) In case the guest/s fail to arrive by 6:00 pm on the agreed arrival date, the host is entitled to withdraw from the contract unless both parties agreed on a later arrival time. (4) If the guest has paid a deposit, the host will hold the room/s until 12:00 noon the next day. (5) Even if the guest does not use the booked room/s or any other booked service, the guest is obliged to pay the agreed remuneration. However, the host has to deduct expenses saved by not providing the service or the revenue earned from re-letting the booked room/s to another guest. Experience shows that the savings resulting from the cancellation of services typically amount to 15% of the room rate. (6) The accommodation provider shall make reasonable efforts to rent the unused rooms to other guests taking the circumstances into account.

Getting there

Arrival by car From Salzburg, take the Tauern Motorway (A10) to the Villach–Ossiacher See exit. Then follow federal road no. 94 for 8–10 km to reach the towns of Bodensdorf, Steindorf, and Tiffen. From Vienna, take the Southern Autobahn (A2), then continue on federal road no. 17. From Italy, take the motorway from Udine via Tarvisio to Villach. Then follow signs to Ossiacher See. Arriving by train The nearest train station, in Bodensdorf, is just 500 m from the apartment complex. Wir haben zwei Wochen im Seeappartement verbracht. Die Vermieter*innen sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend und haben uns am Anreisetage vieles gezeigt und erklärt. Das Appartement war in einem top Zustand und sehr gut ausgestattet. Auch die Außenanlage mit direktem Seezugang ist sehr gut gepflegt.
