Approximately 2 km away lies the cozy village center of Julianadorp with many shops, restaurants, and inviting terraces. The city of Den Helder is located 7 km away and features attractions such as the Naval Museum, Fort Kijkduin, and Willemsoord. About 17 km away is the beautiful town of Schagen, where every Thursday there is a parade of West Frisians in traditional costumes. The city of Alkmaar is approximately 35 km from the apartment. Every Friday from April to September, the world-famous cheese market is held. The island of Texel is really easy to reach. From Julianadorp, it's just a 15-minute drive towards Den Helder to the ferry (TESO).

We love this place. Always spotless. Everything is there, even Bicycles. A very short walk to the Beach, and a short bike ride to great restaurants and groceries, drinks and a shopping center. Plenty of bike paths, walking paths and Canals to Canoe on. Piet and Ella are fantastic hosts.
