Tonko und seine Familie waren die besten Gastgeber die wir jemals hatten. Wir reisten mit dem Auto an,wurden super eingewiesen , Parkplatz war reserviert. Nach einer herzlichen Begrüßung (es gab Wein und Bier) half Tonko sogar beim ausladen des Gepäcks. Nach einer Woche,hat Tonko mit seinem Boot eine kleine Tour mit uns gemacht,die sehr interessant war. Nach dem Kuchen von Tanja in der ersten Woche,waren wir in der zweiten Woche zu einem leckeren Abendessen von Tanja und Tonko eingeladen.Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und geräumig. Der Balkon mit dem unbezahlbarem Ausblick auf Lokrum und die Altstadt von Dubrovnik waren sensationell. Kann man nur empfehlen.

Wir hatten eine tolle Woche in Dubrovnik. Die gemütliche, gepflegte Ferienwohnung liegt außerhalb des Altstadtrummels und ist gut ausgestattet. Die Altstadt ist fußläufig zu erreichen, eine Bushaltestelle befindet sich in der Nähe.
Vom Balkon aus hat man eine tolle Sicht auf die Altstadt und das Meer, direkt auf die Insel Lokrum.
Unser ganz besonderer Dank gilt unseren Vermietern Tanja und Tonko. Ihre Gastfreundschaft und Herzlichkeit ist beeindruckend. Tonko stand jederzeit mit Rat/Tat zur Seite und hat uns zu einer Bootsfahrt eingeladen. Vielen Dank für die selbstgemachten Leckereien. Sie waren köstlich.
Für den Flughafentransfer möchten wir uns bedanken. Bequemer gehts nicht.
Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und können Wohnung und Vermieter nur weiterempfehlen.

Tonko und Tanja sind ganz tolle Vermieter und besonders herzliche Menschen. Sie beide verkörpern, wie gastfreundschaftlich Kroatien ist. Sie standen uns immer zur Seite, halfen uns und gaben uns Tipps zur Erkundung der Region. Der tägliche Blick auf Dubrovnik und Lokrum ist wirklich traumhaft. Auch die Bushaltestelle "vor der Tür" ist ein großer Vorteil. Man erreicht zu Fuß von der Wohnung aus drei Strände (z. T. mit vielen Treppen). Diese Ferienwohnung und Familie Brailo sind einfach nur weiterzuempfehlen.

Wir hatten wundervolle 6 Tage in Dubrovnik bei Tanja und Tonko. Die Wohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet und besticht vor allem durch die phantastische Aussicht auf die Altstadt und das Meer. In 10 Minuten ist man zu Fuß in der Altstadt. Ein Parkplatz wird durch Tonko zuverlässig "freigesperrt", da in Dubrovnik kostenfreie Parkplätze Mangelware sind. Am eindruckvollsten war jedoch der Einsatz und die Gastfreundschaft unserer Gastgeber. Von selbstgemachten Palatschinken, über ein Bier zwischendurch und das selbstgemachte, sehr leckere 3-Gangmenue am letzten Abend, so etwas kannten wir bisher noch nicht!!! Tonko steht jederzeit mit Rat und Tat zur Verfügung. Rundum ein gelungener Aufenthalt und nochmal vielen Dank Ihr Zwei!

Was für ein Glück wir hatten, eine schöne, gepflegte, gemütliche und ruhige Wohnung ausserhalb des Rummels der wunderschönen Altstadt von Dubrovnik, und dennoch in 10 Minuten zu Fuss erreichbar, ein wunderbar sympathisches Gastgeberpaar, jederzeit bereit für Tips, so herzlich und grosszügig, wir haben sie so ins Herz geschlossen, dass wir gerne wiederkommen! Drei verschiedene Strände für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei in Gehdistanz, unser Lieblingsstrand, rocky beach, gerade unterhalb des Hauses, wenige Leute und traumhaftes Wasser, viele Fische zu sehen..
Vom Balkon aus eine wunderschöne Sicht auf die Stadt und die Insel Lokrum. Bushaltestelle direkt vor dem Haus, Gemüse, Fischmarkt und der neue Hafen völlig unkompliziert zu erreichen.

Wir können diese schöne Wohnung mit einem Traumblick auf s Meer und auf Dubrovnik wärmstens empfehlen. 15 Minuten Fussweg in die Stadt. Bushaltestelle 100 m Entfernung. Das Appartement war blitzblank sauber. Die Vermieter Tonko und Tanja die Freundlichkeit in Person. Tonko hat uns mit seinem Boot auf eine Rundfahrt eingeladen, ebenso wurden wir wunderbar bekocht. Diese Gastfreundschaft hat uns sehr berührt. Danke für alles :-)! Dubrovnik müsste jetzt bereist werden. Man hat Platz und Ruhe die Stadt in ihrer Schönheit zu entdecken. Schutzkonzept Covid-19, wird in jedem Bereich gelebt+umgesetzt. Im Appartement stehen Desinfektionsmittel und Masken zur Verfügung. Das Meer ist in 5'zu Fuss erreichbar. Dubrovnik besteht aus Treppen!Man ist sportlich oder wird es. Das Meer ist ein Traum und super sauber.

We spent a week in the apartment and we could have easily stayed much longer. We felt very welcomed by Mr Tonko and his family. The apartment itself was very clean, located only a short walk from the old city and the beaches yet located far enough from all the hustle and bustle. Perfect home away from home with breathtaking view that's wonderful for morning coffee and glass of wine in the evening. We are very happy with our apartment choice and couldn't recommend enough. With that, many thanks to Tonko and Tanja for making our stay so pleasant and comfortable.

We recently spent a week in this lovely apartment within walking distance of the old town. The hosts, Tonko and Tanja are wonderful. Tonko was always willing to help with transportation to the bus station or the port, and was ready with suggestions and recommendations for restaurants and what to do in the city. Tanja made us a delicious eggplant and cheese dish, and we were offered wine and liqueur. The views over the balcony were stunning. We had dinner on the balcony overlooking the scenery almost every evening. It is such fun to watch the cruise ships, some of which anchor right in front of the apartment! Thank you for an amazing stay!!

The apartment has a great view and is located only a 10 minute walk away from the old city. The apartment has everything you need and is very clean and cosy. Tonko and Tanja are very nice people and will help you in any possible way (even when you desperatly need to watch a football game ;). Their hospitality is outstanding and they make you feel, as if you're part of the family :) If we will return to Dubrovnik, we will definataly stay with Tonko and Tanja again.

From the moment you book you feel part of the brallio family. NOTHING is too much trouble. Airport pick up is smooth, with an option of a supermarket stop off .The Apartment is 5* spotless. The View is magnificent. During our stay we left treats by astorytelling Tonko and his generous wife Tanja. We were given plenty of advice by a friendly Natasha on places to visit and at what times.Must 'do's' locally,cable car and war museum, city walls, the city and the archeological dig,The local beach of St Jakov and the ruins of Hotel Belvadir.Then jump on the many punctual and cheap buses and explore Lapad, Babin Kuk.Milini, Sobreno and the homeland war ruins at Kapari. Whatever you decide I can gaurantee you will leave a piece of heart in Dubrovnik and with the brallio family.

Incredible view (sea, Lokrum Island, Dubrobvnik) + excellent location (sea for swimming and old town for visiting very close by foot)
I discovered this paradise 16 years ago ; sometimes your disapointed when you come back somewhere; this summer , just the opposite : even more marvelous !!

A warm friendly welcome from the owners. Fantastic location with an amazing view from the balcony. Great facilities and very clean apartment. Lots of advice and local information, great recommendations of places to eat and visit. Nothing to much trouble and lots of nice treats provided by the owners Tonko and Tanya. Great communication when booking and airport transfers provided if you want them. A fantastic holiday in a beautiful city, what more can i say!!

We spent a week at this apartment and could have stayed a month. It is gorgeous. The owner Tonko was amazingly patient during the booking stage. I had lots of queries as I wanted our time in Dubrovnik to be perfect and it was. We ate all our meals on the terrace which looks small in the photos but is amazingly functional. The view, as described by previous reviewers, is stunning. Special mention must be made of the owners daughter in law, Natasha who is a registered tour guide and fluent in English. We had a private tour of the old city with her and she provided invaluable insight into how locals live, where she and her family meet for coffee, restaurants they frequent etc. This was exactly we wanted
. I doubt anybody would find better in the whole of Dubrovnik.

Wir haben jeden Tag unseres Urlaubs genossen. Eine sehr schöne, gemütliche, gepflegte Ferienwohnung mit allem, was man benötigt. Die Aussicht vom Balkon auf die Altstadt, auf Lokrum und das Meer ist unschlagbar und lädt jeden Tag aufs Neue zum Genießen ein.
Der Empfang war sehr herzlich und sympathisch. Tonko und seine Familie sind die perfekten Gastgeber, bei denen man sich sofort wohlfühlt!
Vielen lieben Dank nochmal für das leckere Abendessen und den Wein! :-)
Auch für den Transfer von und zum Flughafen sind wir sehr dankbar. Praktischer und angenehmer kann man gar nicht ankommen und abreisen!
Nächstes Jahr werden wir gern wieder unseren Urlaub dort verbringen.

Somos un matrimonio con 2 niños de 7 y 11 años.
El apartamento esta muy bien, muy bien equipado , muy limpio, y muy bien ubicado, con unas muy buenas vistas y cerca del casco antiguo, a 10 minutos a pie, pero en una zona muy tranquila.Cerca de dos playas .
Las fotos muestran realmente la realidad. Muy recomendables. No hay sorpresas negativas, al contrario. Estuvimos muy a gusto.
Tonko y Natassa , los que llevan el apartamento fueron muy amables en todo momento y Natassa habla castellano y trabaja de guía por lo que nos explicó un montón de cosas sin problemas.
Fueron súper amables. Os lo recomendamos.

Wir haben eine fantastische Urlaubswoche in Dubrovnik im Appartement von Tanja und Tonko verbracht.
Die Wohnung ist klein, sehr gemütlich und tip top - absolut unschlagbar sind der Ausblick vom Balkon auf das Meer und die Altstadt von Dubrovnik sowie die ideale Lage: Strände, Altstadt, Hafen, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten etc., alles fußläufig gut erreichbar.
Tanja und Tonko sind liebenswert, engagiert und waren mit tollen InsiderTips zur Hand. Das ist Familienanschluss im besten Sinne. Unglaublich nette Menschen, ein toller Ort , eine Einladung zu einer wunderschönen Bootstour und der beste Octopussalat der Welt ;-) sind Grund genug bald wieder zu kommen.

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel so welcome. Over a cold beer & glass of wine Tonko took us through the amenities in the apartment.
You won't be disappointed the photographs don't really do the view from the balcony justice. I think my husband would have sat there all week watching the coming & goings of the cruise ships in the harbour.
Tonko & Tanja are the most wonderful hosts, nothing is too much trouble and the extra little touches they provide go beyond any service we have had in any other rental property.
The apartment is ideally situated for walking into the old town and Tonko will provide you with details of restaurants and a quieter beach used by the locals.
All together a wonderful experience

without doubt the best all round apartment and service we have ever had! from 1st contact tonko was superb. we were made to feel instantly chilled with a cold beer on the amazing balcony whilst tonko and his son settled us in with all the info we needed. his recommendations were always great nothing was too much trouble, he even lent us his sat nav for a trip to mostar and insisted on driving us to the ferry on last day for our onward journey. the apartment itself was faultless. everything you could possibly need. waking up each morning to that amazing view and having breakfast on the balcony was bliss. its ideally located as its an easy walk to the old town or sveti jakov beach in the other. tonko, tanja and family are lovely, genuine people who we were priveliged to meet. thanks so much.

Overall our expectations were exceeded in every way with Croatia in general and with the apartment. Tonko and Tanya are such wonderful and friendly people. They went above and beyond to make sure that our stay in Dubrovnik was positive. Tonko was always available to offer helpful hints of places to visit and local places to eat. The apartment was immaculate!! It had all everything that we needed; coffee maker, dishes, tea kettle, etc. The view from the apartment balcony is permanently imprinted in my mind; it truly is a million dollar view and no picture in the world could do it justice. We plan on coming back one day and there is no other place I would want to stay. Tonko and Tanja thank you for making our trip to Dubrovnik one that we will never forget.

Tolle Ferienwohnung bei herzensguten Einheimischen. Die Wohnung ist sehr schön zentral und ruhig gelegen und hat wirklich
einen wahrlich fantastischen Ausblick vom sonnigen Sûd
West Balkon. Familie Brailo beantwortet einen jede
Frage betr. Dubrovnik, was hier sehr hilfreich ist. Wir wurden
mit einem tollen Kaffee und Kuchen verwöhnt und haben jede
Minute in Dubrovnik bei Familie Brailo genossen.
Ganz toll war der Shuttle Service von und zum Airport und die

Wir hatten mit unserer 14-jährigen Tochter wundervolle 2 Wochen bei Tanja und Tonko. Die Wohnung ist sehr schön und sauber und bietet alle Extras wie WLan, Sat-TV, Aircondition und eine gut ausgestattete Küche. Die Aussicht auf Bucht und Altstadt von Dubrovnik ist überwältigend! Die Wohnung ist nah an der Altstadt, zu Fuß sind es nur wenige Minuten. Vor allem aber haben uns Tanja und Tonko begeistert. Wir wurden mit einer Herzlichkeit empfangen, als wären wir Familienmitglieder. Wir bekamen wertvolle Tipps zu Sehenswürdigkeiten und Restaurants, die kein Reiseführer bietet! I loved every minute of our holiday. Having breakfast on the balcony looking at a view no money could buy , together with with three of my best friends was one of the best times of my life. This was our best holiday ever.Charming Tonko and his lovely wife Tanja made us feel like home from the first moment we arrived.They were always friendly and helpful. For example when we wanted to rent a car for a trip to Montenegro, just one word to Tonko and next morning the car was delivered to our doorstep.
The house location is perfect. All the main attractions (Old Town, beaches etc.) are within a walking distance.
Apartment itself is beautifull and fitted with all the modern appliances including wlan.
And the view from the balcony is just breathtaking.

Wir haben mit unseren beiden noch kleinen Kindern einen einwöchigen Urlaub bei Tonko und Tanja verbracht, an den wir mit Begeisterung zurückdenken.

Der Transfer vom Flughafen hat trotz Flugverspätung super geklappt. Schließlich auf dem Balkon zu stehen und über die Bucht zu sehen, war ein großartiges Gefühl. Die Wohnung ist bestens für eine Reise mit kleinen Kindern geeignet, nah an der Stadt und den Stränden gelegen. Die Ausstattung ist geschmackvoll, praktisch und lässt besonders für Selbstversorger keinen Wunsch offen.

Wir haben uns nach kurzer Zeit wie zu Hause gefühlt -- an dieser Stelle nochmal ein großer Dank an unsere Gastgeber. Das Abendessen war ein Genuss!

We had a lovely holiday in Dubrovnic. Tonko & Tanja were great hosts & made us very welcome. Ivan drove us from the airport and showed us the apartment over a very welcome cold beer. Location is super- quiet area within walking distance of Dubrovnic old town.

Catch a ferry to Locrum island (10 mins). Bus stop on the corner to take you over to the other port area (Gruz) to get ferry to the Elaphites islands. We hope the wedding goes well- very best wishes to Ivan & Natasha

Es ist wunderschön in der Ferienwohnung von Tanja und Tonko Urlaub zu machen.

Wir haben alles wie beschrieben vorgefunden - der wunderschöne Ausblick vom Balkon und die Gastfreundschaft von Tanja und Tonko sind kaum zu bezahlen.

Der kostenlose Flughafentransfer ist komfortable und hilfreich - Tanja und Tonko helfen wenn notwendig.

Drei verschiedene schöne Badegelegenheiten kann man zu Fuß erreichen - die wunderschöne Altstadt von Dubrovnik auch. Das WLAN in der Ferienwohnung ist ein zusätzlicher Komfort.

Ein Tipp am Rande: Das Wasser aus dem Wasserhahn ist köstliches Trinkwasser - so spart man sich den Einkauf und Transport von Trinkwasser.

Die gastfreundschaftliche Einladung vom Tanja und Tonko zum Grill-Abend ist eine köstliche Abwechslung - sogar die Sonderwünsche unserer Kinder wurden berücksichtigt.

Hier würden wir immer wieder Urlaub machen.

Nous avons passé à dubrovnik un excellent sejour grace à la gentillesse et à la disponibilité de la famille Brailo.La maison est dotee de tout le confort ,la vue est magnifique et la proximité de la vieille ville rend cet appartement exceptionnel.Tout est fait pour que l'on se sente à l'aise et c'est le cas.

Dear Tonko and Tanja. Thank you for your hospitality and being such wonderful hosts. I had not expected to be welcomed with a welcome drink by the owner of the apartment which you did. Usually one is just handed the keys with a "have a nice stay". But staying in Apartment Tanja one feels like a friend of the house being welcomed with open arms instead of just being another guest.

The apartment is well kept, clean and has such a nice ambience to it. It is also close to the town which is perfect.

And the view from the balcony, well... unbelievable!

We would very much like to return at some point!

Tonko and Tanja are very welcoming hosts and the flat is very comfortable. Views are stunning from the balcony. Shower is over the bath and took a bit of getting used to as we couldn't stand upright due to the sloping ceiling, caused quite a laugh as we soaked the bathroom the first time we used it. You need to be fit as the flat is up the hill from the old town and there a lot of steps in Dubrovnik. Overall I would highly recommend this apartment because Tonko and Tanja can't do enough to make sure you have a great holiday.

Einer unserer schönsten Urlaube, mit ganz tollen Gastgebern und herzlichem Umfeld.

Tanja und Tonko waren stets bemüht, uns mit Rat und Tat zu helfen und gaben uns viele wertvolle Tipps. Der Familienanschluss ist so als gehöre man dazu. Besonders in Erinnerung werden mir die Grillabende mit der ganzen Familie bleiben, wo es frischen Fisch und andere leckere Spezialitäten gab. Man kann wirklich sagen es ist Urlaub bei Freunden. Wir kommen ganz sicher wieder und können nur jedem empfehlen, auch mal bei Tanja und Tonko den Urlaub zu verbringen.

Im Oktober letzten Jahres machten wir u.a. Station in Dubrovnik, wo wir für eine Woche die FW Tanja der Familie Brailo bezogen. Unsere Gastgeber hießen uns und unsere Hündin außerordentlich herzlich willkommen. Nach der gemeinsamen Einnahme eines Willkommentrunks zeigte man uns die auf Anhieb sehr gemütlich wirkende Wohnung, die auch von ihrer Ausstattung her keine Wünsche offen ließ. Der Blick vom Balkon auf die zu Fuß gut erreichbare Altstadt von Dubrovnik war wunderschön. Dass sich in unmittelbarer Nähe gleich ein kleiner Park und ein schöner Spazierweg befanden, war für unsere Hündin eine willkommene Abwechslung zu Kunst und Kultur innerhalb der Stadtmauern. Unsere herzlichen Gastgeber, die auch immer gute Tipps für uns hatten, werden uns noch lange in Erinnerung bleiben.

In a nutshell, it was not just that what was promised but much better. Only due to hospitality of Tonko and Tanja we could quickly integrate into local life and enjoy not only the nicest views but the colourful and unique culture of Croatia. 1000 thanks to this family for the best vacation which one can ever imagine!

E' stata una vacanza bellissima, i signori Brailo sono due persone eccezionali, gentili e disponibilissimi. La casa è bellissima e comoda, dotata di ogni confort e collegata molto bene con il centro città. E' stato tutto perfetto e consigliamo a tutti di rivolgersi al signor Tonko Brailo per le proprie vacanze a Dubrovnick che è sicuramente una città da visitare.

Einfach Klasse. Von Anfang bis Ende ein wirklich genialer Urlaub. Tonko und Tanja sind wunderbare Vermieter, die zu Freunden wurden. Besonders die netten Abende waren traumhaft (lecker Pivo). Wir waren mit drei Mädels in der Ferienwohnung der Familie Brailo und waren hell auf begeistert. Die Wohnung ist liebevoll mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht. Tonko und Tanja waren die besten Gastgeber die wir auf unseren Städtereisen bisher kennengelernt haben.

Several words come to mind to describe the pleasant demeanor of our gracious host Tonko. During our recent stay in Dubrovnik, he was cordial, congenial, hospitable and accommodating. Expect to be welcomed and treated as though you were an old friend of the Brailo family. All good things come to an end, and I would rather have sat down, had another beer and chatted some more with Tonko rather than depart. I found him to be a soul mate ... my kind of guy. If ever we return to Dubrovnik, I know where we'll be staying. My advice to you would be to look no further. I've already found the best place for you to stay in Dubrovnik where the apartment is as charming as the Brailo's.
