Our house is located in a spacious park with a colorful and diverse range of holiday homes, all open to the central pond, offering both tranquility and privacy.
Our house in the park is approximately 100 to 200 meters from the dike along the Westerschelde estuary. From there, you have a magnificent view of the sea, the sandbanks that are exposed at low tide, and where you can also see the locks. You can also see Vlissingen , Terneuzen, and Antwerp . The yachts of Breskens add life to the sea.
Along the dike, there are beautiful walking and cycling paths, as well as paths along the inner and outer dike, leading to nature reserves and marshes.
The park is adjacent to the village of Hoofdplaat, which has a restaurant and snack bar at the park entrance, a bakery where you can also buy groceries, and a few shops – a charming village with a pleasant atmosphere.
A wider range of supermarkets and shops can be found in Breskens.
