The municipality of Tignale stretches from the lake up to the mountain peaks above the village, offering an exceptionally diverse landscape – ideal for all kinds of outdoor sports. You can embark on wonderful hikes directly from the house, such as to the Madonna di Montecastello pilgrimage church, a beautiful waterfall, from one mountain village to another, or simply down to Lake Garda and back up again, for example, by shuttle bus. Climbing, mountain biking... – everywhere along the trails, there are fabulous views of Lake Garda . E-bikes can also be rented in town.
You can reach the lake for swimming with the free shuttle bus to Tignale beach, or you can take a 15-minute drive to the charming, less touristy town of Gargnano , with its lovely restaurants in the harbor and a beautiful free beach in an olive grove. It takes about 20 minutes to reach Limone and Toscolano Maderno. Salò and Riva can be reached in approximately 30 minutes. Verona , Brescia, and Mantua are all about an hour away, and for longer stays, excursions to Venice or Milan, about two hours away, are worthwhile.
There's also a beautifully landscaped golf course just beyond Gagnano in Bogliaco, about 25 minutes away.
So there are countless possibilities for activities.
