The Veluwe forests are within 500 meters walking distance for hours of hiking fun. You can also pick up the network of junctions from the park for beautiful cycling routes that you can put together yourself.
To be fully pampered after hiking or cycling, you can reach Sauna Drôme (for a fee), 400 meters from your accommodation.
The cozy villages Putten and Voorthuizen are very close with many nice restaurants and shops. In the vicinity you will also find various destinations for the best days out: swimming pool Bosbad Putten, the Klimbos Garderen, National Park de Hoge Veluwe, the Dolfinarium in Harderwijk or the Strand/Schateiland/playground equipment/water skiing in Zeumeren, Strand Horst is only 15 minutes from your stay. An environment where for everyone is something to do!
The bus stop Huinen, Veenhuizerveldweg is 1 km away from the park. From this bus stop, you can go in the direction of Harderwijk or Barneveld.
Getting there
Coming from the N303 at the roundabout, take the exit to the Veenhuizerveldweg.
Follow this road until this road in until this changes in the Poolseweg in a gentle bend. Park Eyckenhoff is located at the first road on the left side.
The chalet is located at the first road to the left when entering parc Eyckenhoff. The chalet is the first chalet located at the left side of the road.
Because of one-way traffic, with the car you need to take the second road to the left and then again the second to the left, drive until the end of the street, turn left again and then the chalet is the second chalet on your right hand side (number 114).
