Holiday destination Looe, Cornwall
Our location on the edge of the quiet rural village of Lanreath by Looe is
idyllic. View stunning countryside and relax in our peaceful retreat. The village shop is within walking distance and you can enjoy delicious food at the local pub 2 miles away.
Walking the coastal path is just one of the many options open to you during your stay. We are only 6 miles from the picturesque fishing villages of Looe and Polperro and close to pretty beaches, the Eden Project and Fowey estuary. This is an ideal location to explore Cornwall, with its gardens, heritage and unspoilt beauty.
Horse riding, golf and watersports are available nearby and fishing from the day boats in Looe is popular.
We can advise on some free activities for children.
We welcome you on Saturdays in high season for one or more full weeks. At other times of the year, flexible breaks are possible, as are shorter holidays. You may arrive anytime after 3.30pm and we personally greet you and show you around, providing information on the local area and Cornwall. Our home made cream tea is always popular after your journey.
To find us, take the A38 from the end of the M5 motorway. After the Liskeard turning (some 60 miles), take the A390 towards St Austell.
After passing through East Taphouse village, turn left towards Looe. After 6 miles there is a turning into Lanreath village. Take the second right and The Old Rectory can be located at the end of a narrow driveway. Detailed directions are sent on booking
