Holiday destination
Balatongyörök is a romantic seaside resort on the northern shore of Lake Balaton. The town boasts one of the lake's most beautiful beaches, shaded by mature trees. You can rent pedal boats, play beach volleyball, enjoy table tennis, visit two shaded playgrounds for children, ride a water slide, play mini-golf, and find everything else you could wish for. There are restaurants, small shops, and a small harbor from which, among other things, scenic boat trips depart.
Getting there
The best way to travel is by car, which gives you flexibility once you're here.
You can take the car-train to Vienna and then continue on towards Lake Balaton.
You can easily reach us by train via Győr.
You can fly to Vienna or Budapest and then arrange a transfer.
