Kamilari is ideally located on the central south coast of Crete, making it easy to visit, among other places, the ancient palace of Phaistos, the archaeological sites of Gortyna and Agia Triada, the Monastery of Odigitrias, the archaeological museum in Gortys, and, of course, the beautiful beaches of Kalamaki, Komos, Matala, Red Beach, Agio Farago, and others. The center of Kamilari, with its mini-markets, bakery, butcher shop, pharmacy, and excellent restaurants, is just a 10-minute walk away. The beautiful sandy beach of Komos or Kalamaki Beach are each about a 7-minute drive away.

Getting there

We would be happy to arrange a local taxi for you to take you comfortably to your holiday villa. You will be personally greeted at the airport. Upon request, we can also obtain a rental car quote for you with delivery directly at the villa. Of course, pick-up and drop-off at Heraklion Airport are also possible.
