Holiday destination
The listed Meerwijkpark complex consists largely of houses built in 1917/18 by architects of the Amsterdam School. It's just a short walk to the center of the artists' village of Bergen, with its famous Ruïnekirchen (Ruined Church) and its cozy (heated in winter) terraces, such as the renowned Restaurant met den Pilaren, and charming shops. The Bergerbos forest with the Oude Hof (Old Farm), the Zwarte Schuur cinema, and the Kranenburgh Museum are all nearby. Beautiful heath and dune areas are within easy walking distance. The sea and beach of Bergen aan Zee can be reached in 20 minutes by bicycle.
Getting there
From the A9 -> At the AFAS stadium, take the exit towards Den Helder/Heiloo/Alkmaar -> 3rd exit onto the N9 [Heilooër Tolweg] -> after 4.1 km, at the 3rd traffic lights, towards Bergen -> straight ahead at the 1st roundabout [with the rusty columns] via the N510 -> via Bergerweg, turn left after 600m (Oosterweg) -> after 1.1 km via Loudelsweg - Studler van Surcklaan -> turn left onto Meerwijklaan (unpaved road) -> 2nd house on the right (next to De Bark house). After unloading, park for free at Studler van Surcklaan

Heerlijk huis op een bijzondere plek in Bergen.
Wij hebben het heerlijk gehad, de eerste paar dagen met onze twee volwassen kinderen. De eigenaren, zijn heel vriendelijk! In het huis is alles aanwezig en heel knus! De Meerwijklaan is een prachtig laantje met bijzondere huizen! Wij willen graag volgend jaar terugkomen!

Verhuurders zijn echt vriendelijk. We vonden het een heel aparte huisje met alles wat je nodig hebt. Het ligt schilderachtig, in den architectonisch interessante omgeving , is dicht bij dehnt centrum en de verhuurders zijn echt vriendelijk en vorkomend! Wij willen weerkomen!
