My friends Shari, Amber and I rented the two-bedroom house from Nikos to enjoy a quite kid-free week. Upon arrival we were stunned by the beauty of the nature near the house. The private access to the sea is just steps away from the house, with a turquoise water awaiting anyone who needs to cool off. The house is well equipped and the A/C is fantastic in the hot days. Our host Nikos has gone above and beyond to take care of us. He is the embodiment of hospitality. It felt more to be staying with a friend as he was checking up on my friends and I. Marathias is close to Keri which is perfect for anyone looking to dive and enjoy the surrounding nature. Overall, an amazing experience, highly recommended because of Nikos and his family. We will surely return!

Urlaub im Andreas-House inmitten eines Olivenhaines direkt am Meer. Unvergessliche Sonnenaufgaenge, kleine einsame Badebuchten, wunderschoene Wanderwege und immer wieder dieser atemberaubende Blick auf die grosse Laganas-Bucht, mit ihrer Insel Marathonissi, die die Form einer Schildkroete hat.
Freundlich umsorgt von der netten und gastfreundlichen Familie Nikos Goulos, die schon seit 1960 Ferienhaeuser an Gaeste vermietet. Es fehlt an nichts - Erholung pur. So muss Urlaub sein!
Fuer alle diejenigen, die wohlige Waerme der Hitze vorziehen und vielleicht auch gerne einmal wandern moechten, ist der Oktober der ideale Reisemonat. Die grossen Straende sind nicht ueberfuellt und man kann noch sehr gut im Meer baden und schnorcheln. Die Temperaturen sind sehr angenehm.
Die Anreise mit der Faehre (natuerlich auch mit dem Flugzeug) ist sehr zu empfehlen. Beeindruckend ist die Abfahrt von Venedig aus, bei der man waehrend man aus dem Hafen faehrt, einen wundervollen Eindruck von dieser Stadt erhaelt. Am naechsten Tag durchquert die Faehre dann das Ionische Meer mit dem Blick auf die Ionischen Inseln auf der einen und dem Festland auf der anderen Seite, bevor man dann in Patras einlaeft. Waehrend dieser Reise Delphine zu sehen, ist keine Seltenheit.
Von Patras aus sind es etwa 70 km bis zur Hafenstadt Killini, von der aus die Faehre nach Zakynthos mehrmals taeglich ablegt.
In Zakynthos angekommen, wird man von dem netten Herrn Goulos erwartet und zu dem wunderschoenen Fleckchen Erde gefuehrt, auf dem die freundlich eingerichteten Haeuschen stehen.
Eine Reise mit der Faehre in Kombination mit dem Wohnen in diesen schoenen Ferienhaeuschen ist fuer eine Familie ein relativ preiswerter Urlaub in wunderschoener Umgebung, bei dem schon der Weg das Ziel bedeutet.
Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefuehlt und von der langjaehrigen Erfahrung und Zuverlaessigkeit unserer Vermieter profitiert. Wir werden ganz sicher wiederkommen!!!
