Holiday destination
Vaschvitz is a tiny hamlet outside the Rügen island community of Trent and is situated directly on the Rassower Strom waterway, the Baltic Sea inlet into the Bodden network of lagoons.
The island of Hiddensee lies just across the water and is readily accessible by ferry from the small port village of Schaprode, just a short bicycle ride away. Also just a few minutes away by car or bicycle, the Wittow ferry whisks visitors away to the miles of gorgeous white sandy beaches on the “Schaabe” sand bar plus makes countless hidden stretches of romantic coastline easily accessible. Although wonderfully private and quiet, our holiday home is perfectly located to take best advantage of the rich diversity of the immediate area. The 4-star Lindner Hotel & Spa is also just a few steps away and offers a host of amenities.
Getting there
Without straffic jam via Autobahn A20 and 4-lane B96 to Stralsund. The 4.1 km long Rügen bridge connects the mainland to the island of Rügen. From there it’s just a short 30 minute drive to your destination.

Host informationAs a child I spent summers with my parents on the Island of Rügen on Baltic Sea. In love with the island and its climate I looked together with my family for a special place where we could fulfill our dream of a house by the sea.

Wir waren wirklich begeistert von diesem Haus. Schon der erste Blick aus dem Wohnzimmer auf die Ostsee hat uns absolut begeistert.
In dem Haus fehlte es an nichts, wir haben die Ruhe in der näheren Umgebung genossen und uns hier sehr wohlgefühlt. Auch die Sauna mit ebenfalls tollem Ausblick war für uns in der kalten Jahreszeit ein Traum.
Sehr gut gefallen hat uns auch der nette Kontakt mit der Vermieterin.
Wir werden das Haus auf jeden Fall weiter empfehlen!

Wir haben mit unserer 13jährigen Teenagerin und unserem 6 Jahre alten Sohn das Ferienhaus gebucht. Unsere Kinder waren begeistert und würden wieder das Haus buchen, wir übrigens auch ;-)
Jeder hatte die Möglichkeit sich in sein Zimmer zurückzuziehen. Das Ferienhaus ist sehr sehr gut ausgestattet. Vor allem viele Teller (Spülmaschine musste also nicht jeden Tag laufen, weil nicht nur vier Teller da waren) und man kann fast alles zubereiten, weil die Küche wirklich sehr gut ausgestattet ist.
Der Naturstrand Nähe des Hauses ist nicht wirklich zum Schwimmen geeignet (eher Surfen, SUP). Wer aber sein KFZ dabei hat, kann mit dem Auto zum Strand fahren und sich dann abends wieder auf die Ruhe und Entspannung in dem schönen Ferienhaus mit einem täglich wundervollen Sonnenuntergang über der Ostsee freuen.
