Other recreational opportunities

A big Aqua Center is aprox. 25 minutes away in Alcanterilla. Sagres is worth a visit, you can visit the old military Fort, Fortaleza. Right around the corner towards Aljezur are nice beaches, perfect for surfing and more nice restaurants. The biggest town is Portimao, where you can find a lot of shopping centers, nice beaches ect.

Holiday destination

The Boavista Golf and Spa Resort is located right in the middle of a 18-hole Championship Golf course and only 2 km from the lovely Porto Mos Beach and Restaurants. Lagos has a beautiful historical old town with plenty of nice Restaurants and Pubs. It also has a big Marina with more restaurants and Pubs. The famous Meia Praia Beach with its many Restaurants is approx. 6 km away. In Lagos you can find a lot of super markets such as Continente, Aldi, Lidl, Intermarché, boutiques etc. A lot of water sport activities and boat trips to the tipical cliffs and caves are offered from the Marina. Praia de Luz and it's beautiful beach is only 5 km away . The nice Porto Mos beach is only 4 km away, it can also be reached by walking by the nearby cliffs

Getting there

2,5 hours from Lisbon Airport, take Motorway IP1/A2 direction to the Algarve, then when you reach the A22 after 2 hours turn right and take the A22 motorway direction Lagos/Portimao. 60 minutes from Faro Airport, via motorway A22 to Portimao/Lagos. For both options: Important, take Exit/Saida no. 1 to Lagos/Vila do Bispo, not Exit/Saida 2 Lagos, which is the first Exit, and will lead you to the City Center of Lagos instead. After the second round about take first exit direction Sagres/Luz. after approx. 500m turn left after the big sign Boavista Golf and Spa Resort. After about 300m to the right, you will find sign to the Clubhouse, where you can meet up with Paula Pereira.

2 Wochen waren wir in der fantastischen Ferienwohnung von Frau Müller. Die Wohnung lässt wirklich keine Wünsche offen: sehr schöne Einrichtung, perfekt ausgestattete Küche, separat geschaltete Klimaanlagen, 2 Balkone, wunderschöner Ausblick und sehr, sehr sauber. Der Kontakt mit Frau Müller war sehr freundlich, auch die Abstimmung zur Zwischenreinigung hat super geklappt. Die Wohnung befindet sich auf einer großen, sehr gepflegten und sauberen Golfanlage. Lagos Stadt und die Sehenswürdigkeiten der Umgebung lassen sich von dort super erreichen. Eine wunderschöne und beeindruckende Gegend. Jederzeit würden wir gerne wiederkommen. Mein Mann und ich haben 10 Tage in dieser schönen Unterkunft verbracht. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und haben uns total wohlgefühlt. Es hat an nichts gefehlt und alles war sehr sauber. Je nach Sonnenschein kann man entscheiden, welchen Balkon man nutzen möchte. Es wurde eine Zwischenreinigungen angeboten , was ich persönlich bei einem Aufenthalt von 10 Tagen sehr angenehm empfinde und gerne angenommen habe. Der Poolbereich und die ganze Anlage sind sehr gepflegt. Die Kommunikation war sehr positiv. Wir können nur eine klare Empfehlung aussprechen.
