Kanfanar is a small town located on the southwestern part of the Istrian peninsula, at 275 meters above sea level. It is only 8 km from the Lim channel and the famous caves. For those who like free climbing, there are two suitable places in Kanfanar: one is at the end of Limska spilja, next to the road, and the other is above Dvigrad, in the northern part of Draga. On the other hand, those who like to walk or ride a bike will find a series of roads and paths that lead to the most beautiful interior of the Istrian peninsula. 30 kilometers of bicycle paths connect Kanfanar with neighboring settlements such as Dvigrad, Lim, Barat, Žminj and Svetvinčent.
