Holiday destination
Our pension is situated in the bay of Salvador da Bahia at the main island Itaparica. The beach “Ponta de Areia” is the best beach from Itaparica, only one mile from the city which has the same name as the island. You can see Salvador, but Itaparica has his own flair, which is totally different to the capital. The see in front of the house invites you during the complete year to take a bath. The water is clear and warm, there are no waves. Leaving Salvador, you take a catamaran or the ferry-boat, which leaves every hour.
Getting there
After leaving the ferry-area “Bom Despacho” enter the first cross to the right after 50 meters. From there it´s mor 6 km (4 miles) to “Ponta de Areia”. Taxi 5 $ US.
