Cancellation policy
Cancellation terms and conditions and applicable cancellation fees can be insured against by procuring holiday cancellation insurance with Corona protection. We'll be happy to give you a recommendation. You'll receive a guest-host contract from us when you book.
As a result of the current Coronavirus crisis, we are observing all the necessary protection and hygiene measures, including contactless check-in, provision of a washing machine, cleaning products in the holiday accommodation, etc. All laundry, including bed linen and towels, is washed at 60 degrees. We can minimise person-to-person contact by using the house telephone that's provided in the accommodation. The garden can be used without coming into contact with other guests.
You'll find a folder of information about everything you need to know in the accommodation itself. We kindly ask you to send payment via transfer in advance. Please ask us directly is there's anything else you feel is important for you to know.

Holiday destination
Our house sits amidst enchanting village surroundings with views of the meadows and the forest nearby. The "Burg Gaillenreuth" inn invites you to enjoy a hearty Franconian meal in the romantic beer garden.
Farm shop in Moggast, 2 km away, farm butcher's shop nearby, you can also order bread made by the farmers in the traditional oven.
Cities such as Nuremberg, Bamberg, Bayreuth, Forchheim and Erlangen can be reached conveniently and quickly.
There are lots of things to do in the great outdoors.
Getting there
The most convenient way to reach us is by car. Should you travel by train, we'll gladly pick you up at the train station in Ebermannstadt.
Burggaillenreuth is a district of Ebermannstadt, which is 8 km away. On the B470 in Ebermannstadt, once you're at the end of the village (Aldi), make a right turn towards Moggast, drive up the mountain, through Kanndorf, Windischgaillenreuth to Burggaillenreuth. At the village entrance you'll see a house signpost indicating our residence.
If you travel via Gößweinstein, continue in the direction of Ebermannstadt, through Leutzdorf, then take the next turn-off and turn right towards Burggaillenreuth.

A wonderful holiday at Ferienwohnung Christof !
We were extremely happy to have found this delightful property, we received a warm, friendly welcome by Frau Christof and immediately felt at home.
The well-appointed apartment was very spacious for the four of us; very comfortable, tranquil, impeccably clean, and offered everything we needed and more. All very much appreciated, as was the extensive, very useful information provided at the property for the many things to do, see, visit, eat.
The service provided by our hosts was commendably excellent. Frau Christof was so friendly, welcoming, accommodating, efficient, informative and helpful.
Thank you so much again to make our holiday such a wonderful!
