Holiday destination
Shopping & Entertainment: You will find diverse, basic and hip shopping opportunities in Ehrenfeld as well as a varied number of possibilities to go out (cinema, theatres, concert venues but also a plethora of restaurant, bars and discos).
There are two supermarkets and a bakery just around the corner and a lovely Italian deli which provides fresh crunchy bread, yummy cold cuts and other delicacies on a daily basis. Also you can find small corner shops, Turkish as well as a Chinese supermarket nearby.

Getting there
Public transport can be reached from our house in a short 2 minute walk (next underground station: “Leyendecker Strasse”). Tram lines 3 & 4 stop at "Leyendeckerstrasse". Connections leave mostly every 5 minutes on weekdays.
Without changing trams you can reach:
- Nightlive Hotspots such as Friesenplatz (Belgian Quarter /Ringe): in 6 min or 5 stops
- Neumarkt (Inner City/ Main Shopping drag): in 10 min or 7 stops
- Tradeshow / Messe Deutz: 17 min or 9 stops
It can take you as short as 30 min to get from the airport (20km away) to our house (even with public transport). The next train station (Bahnhof Ehrenfeld) is only 900 metres away.

Es ist großartig, ein Wochenende mit einer Gruppe von Freunden zu verbringen! Sehr gemütliche Zimmer, jedes Schlafzimmer hat sein eigenes Thema mit liebevollen Details. Seien Sie darauf vorbereitet, dass es nur eine Dusche gibt, sodass es etwas schwierig werden könnte, sich als Gruppe fertig zu machen. Der Bahnhof und Supermärkte sind nur wenige Gehminuten entfernt. :)

Wir sind eine Gruppe mit zwei Erwachsenen und fünf Jugendlichen. Das Haus war für uns super geeignet. Wir haben uns alle direkt wie zu Hause gefühlt. Es ist sehr individuell, liebevoll und mit vielen Details eingerichtet. Sehr angenehm ist die Aufteilung der Räume auf mehrere Etagen. Es gibt zwar nur ein Badezimmer, dafür aber eine zusätzliche separate Toilette. Praktisch ist auch der Spiegel über dem Waschbecken in der Küche. Es ist spürbar, dass sich die Eigentümer viele Gedanken gemacht haben, wie sich eine Gruppe dort sehr wohl fühlen kann. Sie sind sehr nett, zuvorkommend und gut erreichbar.
In der Nähe gibt es Supermärkte, Bäckereien, Restaurants und Bars. Es hat an nichts gefehlt. Die U-Bahn Haltestelle ist gleich um die Ecke.
Sollten wir noch einmal in Köln Urlaub machen, dann in diesem Haus :)
