Holiday destination
The holiday apartment is part of a family-friendly holiday facility (Quinta do Paraiso) in Carvoeiro whose facilities can be shared (not in winter). There is the reception, a restaurant (breakfast can be booked), a big shared swimming-pool, kids-club, entertainment program, children's playground, minimart, tennis court, mini-golf course as well as a pizzeria. A diving school is also available.
The price includes the following:
Gas, water, electricity (not in winter), taxes (not the tourist-taxes), swimming-pool, mini-golf, children's playground, table tennis and darts.
The distance to the sea is approx. 20 minutes and to the city Carvoeiro approx. 25 minutes by foot (during winter there is a shuttle bus from the reception to the beach and the city several times a day)
Getting there
From the airport Faro via the A22 towards Portimao. Use the exit Silves/Lagoa, then towards Carvoeiro.
In the roundabout in Lagoa in take the 1st exit (right) in the direction of Carvoeiro.

Ich komme seit Jahren mit meiner Familie hierher und wir lieben es. Ich freue mich immer darauf, zu den schönen Pools zurückzukehren, die erstklassige Unterkunft zu genießen und von einem fantastischen Personal empfangen zu werden. Leider gab es in diesem Jahr einige Änderungen. Die Poolbar schließt um 19 Uhr. Da dieses Resort so abgelegen ist, bedeutet das, dass man das Gelände verlassen muss, um abendliche Aktivitäten zu unternehmen. Ich möchte anmerken, dass ich keinen Alkohol trinke, aber die Poolbar am Abend war immer eine Gelegenheit, andere Eltern zu treffen, Urlaubsbekanntschaften zu schließen und den Kindern zu helfen, Freundschaften zu knüpfen. Das wird mich nicht davon abhalten, in dieses großartige Resort zurückzukehren, aber ich hinterfrage die Logik hinter der Entscheidung des Managements, die Bar so früh zu schließen. Das Personal ist nach wie vor großartig, die Unterkunft ist nach wie vor fantastisch und die Umgebung wird weiterhin wunderschön gepflegt, aber die Schließung der Bar verhindert Gelegenheiten für Eltern und Kinder, sich zu mischen.

Ich habe 9 Nächte dort verbracht. Die Unterkunft war gut und die Pools waren schön. Das Restaurant und das Café waren gut mit einer großen Auswahl.
