Holiday destination
The climatic spa of Rothenberg is located in the south of Hessen on a sun terrace 450 metres above sea level. The idyllic village has about 1000 inhabitants. There are 5 well looked after catering units, all family businesses. You will find a beer garden, cocktail bar, cafe, well-cooked home food all the way to cordon bleu here. Well signposted hiking route network. Open-air swimming pool 3km away.

There is a sporting activity for everyone here. The Neckar valley (8km) invites a boat trip past the four fortresses to Heidelberg (25km)! Erbach, Michelsteadt are 18 km away. There is a lot to see, preventing boredom. Spring. Summer freshness. Colourful woods and a winter fairytale.

Motorway exit Heidelberg, through the Neckar valley as far as Hirschhorn, follow the signs for Rothenberg.
Motorway exit Heppenheim, direction Erbach via Fürth, then direction Beerfelden, in Beerfelden follow the signs for Rothenberg.

Für unseres diesjähriges Gruppentreffen haben wir uns für die Ferienwohnungen von Familie Gittek entschieden. Wir waren sehr begeistert von dem schönen Anwesen und den großzügigen Räumen. Besonders unsere Wohnung für 4 Personen mit großen Gruppenraum war perfekt. Da wir die einzigen mit Kind waren spielte sich das Wochenende hauptsächlich in unserer Wohnung ab. Trotz der 10 Mann war ausreichend Platz. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und die Küche inklusive Geschirr optimal. Die Umgebung ist ruhig und idylisch. Wir haben den Aufenthalt dort sehr genossen. Vielen Dank nochmal für den freundlichen Empfang, die unkomplizierte Abwicklung und natürlich für die schnelle Nachsendung meiner vergessenen Sachen. Beste Grüße aus Erfurt.

Wir haben uns zu unserem jährlichen Treffen (ehemalige Studenten) im Ferienhof Rothenberg bei Familie Gittek eingemietet und sehr schöne Ferienwohnungen vorgefunden, die nichts vermissen ließen.
Die Gastfreundlichkeit von Familie Gittek ist sehr lobenswert. Uns hat es allen sehr gut gefallen. Leider war das verlängerte Wochenende viel zu schnell vorbei.
Eine gute Adresse, die man sich merken kann.
