In Medulin, simply hop on the bus and enjoy a stress-free ride to Pula and back, without the hassle of finding parking. (A bus stop is about a 5-minute walk from the house.)
If you'd like to bring your own bikes, Medulin offers a number of marked cycling routes. Alternatively, you can rent bikes locally.
From here, you can also easily and quickly explore the Kamenjak National Park with its beautiful beaches or the bays of Liznjan and Sisan.
Holiday destination
You can easily reach the beach in Posesi on foot. The large sandy beach and the harbor promenade of Medulin are easily accessible via the beach promenade. Numerous restaurants, cafes, and bars are located in this area.
In Medulin, you'll find several supermarkets, such as Lidl, Plodine, and Konzum.
Excursions can be easily started from here. Pula, with its large amphitheater and famous weekly market, is a 10-15 minute drive away.
The up-and-coming tourist resort of Medulin is currently undergoing a lot of construction, so expect to see some building activity.
Getting there
The easiest way to get there from Germany is via the A8 Munich-Salzburg motorway. From there, simply take the A10 Tauern Autobahn towards Villach. Continue towards Ljubljana and Koper. Alternatively, you can also travel via Austria towards Italy, via Undine and Trieste, then Koper. In Koper, you can either turn towards the Dragonja-Kastel border crossing or head towards Portorož and use the smaller border crossing there. From there, you will be driving towards Pula-Medulin.
