We have the ideal location for nature sports enthusiasts and nature lovers. Premium and rated hiking paths invite you to go for a walk. Nordic walking park in the village, connection to mountain bike park, which was expanded to over 700 paths and trails. Castles, castle ruins, fantastic views of the 1800 km2 Pfalz forest with over 80% trees and a number of catered hiking huts offer enjoyment for all. The Alsace and the German Wine Route are only 25 km away.
Getting there
Arrival via the B10. From the west, A1/A48 then on the Landstuhl interchange drive towards Pirmasens and there on the B10 towards Landau, and exit at the Wilgartswiesen exit. From the east on the A65, Landau-Nord exit and follow the B10 towards Pirmasens: Kaiserslautern, Zweibrücken 30 minutes; Mannheim, Karlsruhe 45 minutes, Saarbrücken 1 hour.

Die Hutzel ist eine urgemütliche und sehr liebevoll eingerichtete Unterkunft. Die Vermieter sind ebenfalls sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Im Grunde ist alles Nötige vorhanden. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet._x000D_ Nur hat uns irgendwie ein Kleiderschrank für die mitgebrachte Kleidung gefehlt. Dies ist allerdings nur unser persönliches Empfinden, genug Regale sind aber vorhanden._x000D_ Nachts sollte man allerdings einen sehr tiefen und unempfindlichen Schlaf haben. Denn bei uns hat die Kirchenglocke direkt nebenan, zur Sommerzeit auch nachts, die Anzahl der vollen Stunden geschlagen. Alles in allem sind die Hutzel und Spirkelbach ein schöner Fleck zum Wandern und Biken in der Pfalz.
