Cancellation policy
Cancellation: If the flat can not be re-led for the whole period, the costs will be as follows:
If cancelled up to 49 days before date of arrival: 70% of the total price.
if cancelled up to 35 days before date of arrival: 80% of the total price.
In case of no-show: 90% of the total price.
Sea, sandy beach and bodden are close to the village.
Galeries, museums, church, restaurants, shops, amber workshops invite you. In guided hikes or bicycle tours the participants will learn about culture, history or nature. Who doesn't want to walk goes by bike, takes the bus or a horse-drawn carriege and can make excursions by passenger ships.
Holiday destination
Kloster was and is a place for artists and celebrities. You can find the church with the cemetery, the Gerhart-Hauptmann-Haus, the museum of local history, an amber workshop and a lot of galeries and the harbour. There are shops, a market garden, bike rentals and riding facilities, too.
The name of our village goes back to a Cistercian monastry that was here between the 13th and the 16th century. You can't find any remains.
Getting there
You can get to the island from two different harbours and only by boat:
- all time from Schaprode on The Isle of Rügen
- in the main season passenger boats sail from Stralsund too
There are three habours on the island: Neuendorf, Vitte, KLoster
To get to Schaprode you have to go by train to Bergen on The Isle of Rügen and then by bus to Schaprode.
There are different safe car parks, If you go by car.
You can reach Stralsund by train or car.
The next airport is Rostock Laage.
