Holiday destination

The backside of the house faces west and offers a wonderful view to the valley across the forest to Sellin and, in the distance, Granitz Castle. It takes about 250 m on foot to reach the fine, sandy south beach. The path takes you through a residential area and a forest. The shoreline of Rügen is only 100m from the house. The Baltic Sea resort Sellin is close to the coastal high forest (Granitz) with a connection to the Mönchgut peninsula in the south-east of Rügen. Sellin is not only near the Baltic Sea, but also to Lake Sellin, which is on the western side of Mönchgut and connected with the Bay of Greifswald. Beside Binz and Göhren, Sellin is one of the major seaside resorts on Rügen.

Getting there

By car: from the west: A1/A7 towards Hamburg, then A1 to Lübeck, A20 to Rostock, exit Grimmen onto B96 to Bergen, continue towards Sellin, in the village continue to Südstrand ("south beach" ), Weißer Steg, turn left into: Neuer Weg. From the south: via Berlin A11 towards Stettin, then A20, in the direction of Rostock, continue as explained above. By train: Railway station Binz auf Rügen By plane: destination airport Rostock-Laage By ship: ferry terminal Sassnitz

Wir haben in vielen FerienhÃ¤usern gewohnt, aber das SonnentrÃ¤umer Haus in Sellin hat uns absolut begeistert. Das Haus ist modern, komfortabel und gemÃ¼tlich, ausgestattet mit allem, was man sich wÃ¼nschen kann, und befindet sich in einer erstklassigen Lage - direkt neben den Klippen am SÃ¼dstrand. Der Blick vom Haus oder von der schÃ¶nen Terrasse im kleinen Garten ist unbezahlbar; man kann fast die gesamte Stadt sehen, bis hin zum Selliner See und der wunderschÃ¶nen Granitz. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefÃ¼hlt und hatten einen wunderbaren Urlaub. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.
