Bocce court right on the property, swimming in Lac de Jouarre and in Brian, a small river near Minerve. Hiking everywhere in the immediate vicinity, descriptions can be found in the house.
You should not miss Minerve. In Siran (3 km) there is a café, a shop, and a bakery; larger shopping can be done in Lézignan, Olonzac, La Redorte.
Holiday destination
The Hameau de Najac is perched on a hillside above Siran. From the holiday home (1st floor), you have a fantastic view of the Olonzac plain with Lac de Jouarre (swimming, windsurfing, guinguette), the Massif de l'Alaric (hiking trails), and the Pyrenees with the distinctive Canigou.
Siran is located in the heart of the AOC Minervois La Liviniere, a paradise for wine connoisseurs. Worth visiting are the cities of Carcassonne 45 km away and Narbonne 45 km away with its beaches and the Massif de la Clape (wine, hiking).
Getting there
Flight: With Ryanair via Stansted to Carcassonne or Girona / Montpellier direct, then rent a car.
Train: Narbonne, rent a car
Car: Rhône Valley motorway, take the exit at Orange towards Spain until Narbonne-Sud, then towards Carcassonne, in Villedaigne turn right at the traffic light towards Olonzac; through Olonzac towards Pépieux, through Pépieux, after about 1 km turn right towards Siran.
In Siran, turn right at the church until the roundabout; here go straight ahead and later uphill towards Najac. At the garbage bins on the right side of the road continue straight (sign for Najac).
Follow the road for about 1 km until you see the sign "La Lucque", then turn left before it and immediately left again into the parking lot between 4 young plane trees. You have arrived. Bienvenu!

Wir hatten tolle zwei Wochen in La Luque! Das mit viel Liebe gestaltete Haus ist schön und ruhig gelegen und ausgesprochen gut ausgestattet. In der Küche findet man alles, was das Herz begehrt. Auch der Pool bietet eine perfekte Abkühlung in der Hitze Südfrankreichs. Es stehen ausreichend bequeme Liegen zu Verfügung und ein Sonnendach sowie ein Sonnenschirm, wenn man mal etwas Schatten braucht. Auch am Tisch auf der Terrasse sitzt man oft im Schatten und kann seine Mahlzeiten entspannt draußen genießen (wenn die Mücken nicht nerven ;-)). Vielen Dank auch an Ute für die freundliche und gute Betreuung. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Vielen Dank für die freundliche Bewertung, das ist erfreulich, wir wollen das Haus verkaufen, aber wissen noch nicht wie und wann. Wenn sie sich nochmal bewerben - im Herbst wissen wir wann es realisiert wird.

Ich bin jetzt hier, die Dame, die bedient, ist so gastfreundlich, der Ort ist wunderschön und das Essen ist fantastisch. Meine Frau sagte, es sei das beste Essen, das sie je in Frankreich hatte, und sie war schon in Frankreich.
