Holiday destination
It is located on the western side in the northeast of Sardinia. Cannigione, originally a fishing village, is a popular tourist resort. Its promenade is occupied by the quays of a modern, spacious harbor. Next to it is a beach of light, coarse-grained sand that dips into a sea of infinite shades of blue. The gently sloping seabed is very popular with divers and snorkelers, so much so that it has become one of Sardinia's diving centers par excellence.
