Holiday destination
In the immediate environment there are 6 lakes, the Havrefjell which extends upwards directly behind our Lykkehjem and the Solhomfjell in the northwest direction.
For excursions to the coastal towns of Kragerø, Risør and Tvedestrand, which appear "Mediterranean" in summer, it is about 45 minutes by car and Arendal is about 60 minutes away.
The Rjukanvossen waterfall or the Jettegrytene natural rock slide are also only 50 - 60 minutes away.
It is a 43 km drive to the Gautefall Skisenter for alpine winter sports.
Getting there
... via Denmark e.g. with the ferry from Hirtshals either to Kristiansand or Larvik.
From Kristiansand towards Oslo on the E18 or from Langesund or Larvik on the E18 towards Kristiansand.
At the exit Gjerstad, take road 418 towards Gjerstad, continue towards Felle.
In Felle right towards Havrefjell Hyttegrend and just drive through to holiday home Lykkehjem.

In dem top ausgestatteten Ferienhaus haben wir uns super erholt! Ein Haus mitten in der Natur, Schwimmen im nahegelegenen See, Chillen auf der großen Terrasse, Wanderungen direkt vom Haus aus, Tagesausflüge ins traumhafte Umland, absolute Stille in der Nacht, dazu ein Sternenhimmel ohne Lichtverschmutzung wie er hierzulande kaum noch zu sehen ist - das ist Aufatmen pur, Entschleunigung, Rauskommen aus dem Alltag. Absolut empfehlenswert!
Dazu sehr hilfsbereite und telefonisch stets ansprechbare Vermieter, die uns rasch halfen, kleine Hindernisse bei der Ankunft zu überwinden. Alles in allem: Eine Unterkunft, die wir nur empfehlen können.

Wir haben im Ferienhaus wunderbare Urlaubstage verbringen können. Das Haus ist sehr modern eingerichtet, es ist alles super sauber, gepflegt, hell und komfortabel. Wir haben den kurzen Weg vom Ferienhaus zum Grestjøn - See sehr genossen, der See ist traumhaft bei jedem Wetter und wir hatten das Glück auch mehrfach baden gehen zu können. Bei Wanderungen zum Havrefjell, Solhomfjell, rings um die Seen im Hüttengebiet und auch in der näheren Umgebung konnten wir uns sehr gut erholen. Ausflüge zu den kleinen Küstenstädten mit den vorgelagerten Schären sind auch sehr schön gewesen und empfehlenswert. Vielen Dank an Jens und Tanja für die unkomplizierte, super zuverlässige und freundliche Betreuung . Euch und allen weiteren Gästen weiterhin viel Freude im Lykkehjem !
