Cancellation by the tenant.
If cancellation occurs up to 1 month before the rental start date: The deposit is forfeited in favor of the landlord.
If another rental is successful, the landlord will refund 60% of the deposit. If the property is not rented out, the full rental amount is due.
For cancellations less than one month before the start of the rental:
The deposit is forfeited. In the case of another rental, the remaining balance will not be requested. If the property is not rented out, the remaining balance is due.
Free cancellation due to Corona is only possible in the event of a rental ban (landlord is not allowed to rent out the property due to an official ban). Otherwise, the above cancellation conditions apply.
It is recommended to take out travel cancellation insurance (possibly with additional Corona coverage)!

Not far from our holiday home, there are fishing jetties on the North Holland Canal, where fishing enthusiasts can always find a peaceful spot. The holiday park offers, among other things, bicycle rental, tennis courts, a mini-golf course, table tennis tables, and a volleyball court. The beautifully designed playground and a mini zoo are particularly popular with the little ones.
Holiday destination
Schoorl boasts the tallest and widest (about 4.5 km) dunes in the Netherlands, covered with forest and heath. The village of Schoorl is 2.5 km away. Alkmaar is 12 km, Den Helder about 30 km, and Amsterdam 65 km away.
Approximately 2 km from the holiday park begins the renowned dune and forest area of Schoorl with its extensive cycling, horse riding, and hiking trails.
Getting there
To reach our holiday home, take one of the following routes:
Cologne - Oberhausen - Arnhem - Utrecht - Amsterdam or
Goch - Nijmegen - Arnhem - Utrecht - Amsterdam or
Venlo - Eindhoven - 's-Hertogenbosch - Utrecht
About 10 km before Amsterdam, head towards Schiphol/Haarlem - Alkmaar. The motorway ends here. At the roundabout, take the direction towards Den Helder. After approximately 10 km, you will arrive at Schoorldam.

Dies war unser erster Besuch im Park, und es wird nicht unser letzter sein.
Es gibt viele verschiedene Bungalows, die jeder auf liebevolle Weise individuell dekoriert sind und jeweils über einen eigenen Garten verfügen. Es gibt ausreichend Parkmöglichkeiten. Der Service sowohl an der Rezeption als auch im Restaurant war stets freundlich und zuvorkommend, und das angebotene Essen und die Getränke waren reichhaltig und sehr schmackhaft. Es ist möglich, Waschmaschinen und Trockner gegen Gebühr zu nutzen oder verschiedene (E-)Bikes (einschließlich Lastenräder, Tandems und Kinderfahrräder) oder Go-Karts zu mieten. Es gibt einen Spielplatz für Kinder sowie ein Fußball- und Basketballfeld. Auch Tischtennis und Minigolf sind verfügbar. Die Anlage verfügt über einen kleinen Bootsanleger für zwei Boote (max. 4 und max. 6 Personen). Von der Anlegestelle aus kann man zudem einfach einen wunderbaren Blick auf den Nordseekanal genießen. Wir waren eine Woche vor Beginn der niederländischen Sommerferien (insgesamt zwei Wochen) dort und dachten zunächst, dass die Anlage in einigen Bereichen etwas besser gepflegt sein könnte. Aber zu Beginn der Ferien wurden beispielsweise viele Rasenflächen gemäht und einige Wartungsarbeiten durchgeführt, was den Aufenthalt deutlich angenehmer machte.
Die Lage des Parks ist einfach perfekt: ruhig, am Nordseekanal, und die kleine, gemütliche Stadt Warmenhuizen bietet ebenfalls Restaurants und Bars sowie den Albert Heijn Supermarkt, wo man alles findet und wo wir immer gerne einkaufen gingen. Die Auswahl ist manchmal ungewöhnlicher und interessanter als in vielen deutschen Supermärkten.
Darüber hinaus sind Strände wie Petten aan Zee oder Bergen aan Zee in 10 oder 15 Minuten mit dem Auto erreichbar. Es versteht sich von selbst, dass man sich mit dem Fahrrad noch besser und effizienter fortbewegen kann ;) Auch für Kinder gibt es in der Nähe viel zu tun, darunter mehrere Indoor-/Outdoor-Spielparks. Amsterdam und Zandvoort sind schnell erreichbar, ebenso wie die Insel Texel.
Unser Bungalow war visuell sehr schön eingerichtet, aber bei näherer Betrachtung gab es hier und da vielleicht einige Verbesserungsmöglichkeiten aufgrund von Abnutzungserscheinungen. Aber das variiert auch von Bungalow zu Bungalow, und letztendlich hat es uns nicht eingeschränkt oder zu sehr gestört. Die Ausstattung war angemessen (wir waren mit drei Kindern im Alter von 7 bis 14 Jahren dort), die Geschirrspülmaschine hat uns gute Dienste geleistet, und es ist erwähnenswert, dass der Ofen eine eingebaute Mikrowelle hat – andere Bewertungen hatten sich darüber beschwert, dass eine fehlte.
Wir hatten wunderbare zwei Wochen und würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen!
