Cancellation policy
Cancellation and early termination
If the Tenant cancels the rental before the arrival date and doesn’t name a replacement that accepts the same terms, they are responsible for paying the following penalty fees to cover costs (excluding cleaning), as long as a further rental is not possible:
From the moment of the deposit to 60 days
before the rental period
30% of rental price
From 59 up to 30 days before rental period 50 % of rental price
up to 21 days before rental period 70 % of rental price
up to 14 days before rental period 90 % of rental price
Less than 14 days before rental period 100 % of rental price
In the event that the Advertiser manages to get a last minute rental on the week that the Tenant cancelled, the Advertiser will keep only 30% of the renting amount and reimburse the rest to the Tenant.
If the Tenant terminates their stay before the end of the rental period, they are obliged to pay the full rental price.
Cancellations due to COVID-19:
If COVID-19 restrictions unable the Tenant to travel during the period before the rental it is possible to repurpose the already paid amount into a voucher for the same or following year. The Tenant has to communicate the cancellation any time from 59 to 14 days before the rental period.

Villa Laura Marie can be a perfect base for an easy visit to Palermo which is only 25 Km away. In our area the little seaports of Porticello and Aspra and the town of Bagheria with its famous 18th century villas.
The highway can be reached in 15 minutes and from there you are connected with several sights. The pictoresque Cefalù, the Greek Temples of Agrigento or Segesta, the medieval little towns of Madonie or even San Vito, Erice, and the area of Marsala and Trapani in the western end of Sicily.
Getting there
Motorway exit Bagheria or Casteldaccia on A19 Palermo-Catania.
Stop for public transport is train station Bagheria.
We advice to rent car in any case.

Host informationHi, we are Antonio and Debbie, a Sicilian and an American currently living in Palermo. We love the Mediterranean sea and to spend time at our beach house. Villa Laura Marie has been in the family since 1961 and was refurbished in 2004. We enjoy receiving guests, and taking care of the check-in and check-out personally. We like to establish a relation with our guests and make sure they feel comfortable in our home from the very beginning. We provide them with all the necessary information (where to eat, what to do, where to go etc. ) to have a memorable vacation at our house and in Sicily. Just as we love our villa we hope our guests love and take care of it too during their stay.

Super Lage für Ausflüge. Prima Strände in der Umgebung. Vom Haus aus könnte man auch schwimmen gehen, jedoch nur bei ruhiger Wasserlage, da riffartiger Einstieg. Bei Sonnenuntergang sollte man mit Mückenvernichtern gut gewappnet sein, die kleinen Blutsauger greifen lautlos an.
Ein Auto wäre von Vorteil, da es doch abseits liegt. In Bagheria gibt es leckere Bäckereien/Konditoreien und auch tolle Restaurants. Die Italiener mögen es, ihren Müll leider an den Straßenränder zu verteilen, man gewöhnt sich dran, tut jedoch im Herzen weh die schöne Natur so zu sehen. Die Auswahl an Ausflugsziele ist enorm, ich denke, es ist für jeden etwas dabei.
Wir würden wiederkommen.

Wir haben als vierköpfige Familie eine wirklich sehr schöne Woche in der Villa Laura Marie verbracht. Das Haus ist zweckmässig eingerichtet und bietet neben den drei Schlafzimmern eine eigene kleine Küche, mit Kühlschrank, Koch- und Abwaschmöglichkeiten. Vor allem die liebevolle Einrichtung des Hauses und der traumhafte Ausblick auf das Meer und das Capo Zafferano, mit dem Leuchtturm, der sogar noch in Betrieb ist, haben es uns besonders angetan. Im Außenbereich haben wir die Grillmöglichkeit und die vorhandenen Liegen und Liegestühle gut genutzt. Auch der über ca. 120 Stufen zu erreichende direkte Meerzugang (Felsen) war wirklich super und wir haben ihn oft genutzt. Der Kontakt mit den Vermietern war immer sehr nett und unkompliziert. Alles in allem können wir die Villa Laura Marie wärmstens empfehlen.
