Echternach, the eldest city of the country, is considered as historic hot spot and capital of the whole region . Hikers will encounter a well signalled hiking net throughout the whole region and they may discover impressive rock formations, romantic brook valleys, amazing view points on the valley of the Sûre. The small villages are quite charming and the old ruins of the castles of Beaufort and Larochette as well as the Schießentümpel cascade are worth a visit.

Das Ferienhaus Black Pearl lässt keine Wünsche offen. Die Ausstattung ist hervorragend und wir haben bei unseren vielen Reisen noch nie einen so gut gepflegten Garten gesehen. Das Highlight ist eindeutig der Naturteich, ein Garant für angenehme Abkühlung und Entspannung an heißen Tagen. Sehr gut gefallen hat uns auch die sehr offene und unkomplizierte Art der Luxemburger. Ich möchte hier besonders den Vermieter Herrn Patrick Doos hervorheben. Ein sehr sympathischer Mensch der sich mit Herzblut darum bemüht seinen Gästen einen schönen Urlaub zu bereiten. Wir kommen wieder, keine Frage.
