Through its naturally sunken location B&B Ca' del Sole is a perfect starting point for walks, rides or mountain bike tours.
A little more than an hour by car are the most famous parks: Gardaland leisure park, the "Natura Viva" nature park in Bussolengo, the Caneva World water park or Cavour.
Holiday destination
If you drive along the Gardesana to the banks of the lake, sooner or later you'll come to Manerba del Garda. The are spreads out at the foot of foothills, known as Rocca di Manerba (215 m).
There's not much left of the fortress on its peak. The ruin is really worth a visit, however.
Another attraction is the Sasso cliffs underneath the fortress. The slim peninsula of Punta Belvedere connects the mainland with the cypress island of San Biagio. Near Manerba there are beautiful beaches which are popular with sun worshippers and water sports enthusiasts, including Porto Dusano, Torcolo and Romantica.
While the current bank area is certainly cosmopolitan and busy, Manerba, in the interior, still retains much of its traditional rural character. In old pubs and restaurants, typical dishes and good regional wine are served, which you can enjoy in a family and cheerful atmosphere.
The landscape around Manerba has no extraordinary surprises, but is characterized by rolling olive groves, vineyards and cypress groves. The area is ideal for cheery walks and cycling tours, above all in the spring and autumn. On hot summer days, however, there is nothing better than a refreshing dip in the lake, surfing or sailing.
The area around Maneriba produces first class DOC wines, including Chiaretto, Rosso and Rosso Superiore. Therefore it is not surprising that a large section of the local population is employed in agriculture - even if in recent years many areas have been converted to campgrounds, in particular in the gulf between Punta Belevedere and Punta Portese.
Getting there
Cà del Sole is located only 15 minutes from the A4 Milan-Venice motorway, exit at Desenzano del Garda. The quickest and easiest way to Ca' del Sole: take the Milan-Venice motorway. Desenzano exit. Follow the signs for SALÓ-RIVA, shown by arrows, in this direction continue about 17 km until you get to the Manerba crossing. Now drive toward Menerba Centre. About 500 m after the second crossing, take the 1st street on the right (via IV Novembre) and keep going straight to another crossing, straight for 40 m, then Ca'del Sole is on the left.

Eine wunderschöne geräumige Ferienwohnung mit wunderschöner, großer Terrasse mit herrlichem Ausblick. Wir waren im Casa Rossa und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Es gab einen, im Grundstück gesicherten, geräumigen Parkplatz und Klimaanlagen im Wohnzimmer und Schlafzimmer. Bett, Matratzen und Kissen waren unglaublich bequem. Und das Highlight war die Gastfreundschaft von Miriam und das Willkommensgeschenk zum Frühstück, weshalb wir kaum einkaufen mussten. Wir haben uns rundum wohl und perfekt betreut gefühlt. Miriams herzliche Art ist sehr Besonders. Ein großes Dankeschön liebe Miriam.

Die Ferienwohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet und liebevoll hergerichtet. Alles ist sehr sauber. Schöner großzügiger Balkon. Sehr nette Vermieterin. Es war eine der besten Ferienwohnungen die wir bisher gebucht hatten. Die Ferienwohnung liegt außerhalb daher ist die Entfernung zum See, Geschäften usw. etwas weiter
