Holiday destination

The most beautiful sandy beach of the island, the “Schaabe”, which extends over a length of almost 10 km, is only 150 m away. Popular destinations such as Cape Arkona or the fishing village of Vitt are nearby and can be easily reached by bike. Water sports such as sailing, kite surfing, etc. are also within a short distance (Breege, Bodden). From the harbour of Breege the ships depart to Hiddensee and also to Ralswiek to visit the Störtebeker Festival.

Getting there

By car take the B96 on Rügen as far as Sagard and then continue towards Glowe/Breege/ Altenkirchen on the L30. Or you take the train to Bergen (or Lietzow or Sagard) and then go on by bus in the direction of Altenkirchen. The bus stop "Juliusruh" is about 100 meters from the house.
