Other recreational opportunities

Day trips: to Carcassonne (Europe's largest medieval fortress city), to the imposing Cathar castles and ancient abbeys, the impressive landscape around Minerve, or the CÃ©vennes mountain range are also a special experience. CadaquÃ©s (Spain), Dali Museum; Collioure, famous for the French Impressionists, a train ride from Narbonne to Perpignan along the coast is enchanting. It takes many vacations to see all the sights (plentiful information material can be found in the house).

Holiday destination

The approach itself - after leaving the highway - through 'La Clape' amidst the aromatic garrigue with native herbs (a hiker's delight), impressive rock formations, and extensive pine forests, passing various vineyards and then the first glimpse from above of the village and the open sea is enchanting. The area is part of the stunning natural park 'Parc naturel regional de la Narbonnaise meditÃ©rranÃ©e'. You won't find any industry or high-rise hotel complexes here. According to the ADAC, the miles-long, gently sloping fine sandy beach is one of the cleanest in Europe (blue environmental flag), maintained and monitored daily during the season and is particularly child-friendly. There's plenty of space for playing ball, jogging, and building sandcastles, and so much more... The region boasts a very well-developed network of bicycle paths (bike rental available). There's a well-maintained riding stable around the corner, surfing, sailing (school). For children, there are playgrounds, a giant water slide, play islands on the beach, and the Pirate Park in the neighboring town of Gruissan. Culinary needs are well catered for: restaurants, bistros, bakeries, small supermarkets, vegetable and wine merchants are all within walking distance, as well as an ATM. Large supermarket and Lidl in the neighboring town. German-speaking doctor in the village; veterinarian in the next town, animal clinic in Coursan.

Wir haben uns in dem Ferienhaus von Frau Roschmann sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Haus ist gemütlich eingerichtet und gut ausgestattet. In den Betten haben wir sehr gut geschlafen. Es gab genügend Stauraum in den Kleiderschränken, endlich mal ausreichend Kleiderbügel, Das kleine fensterlose Bad ist hell, verfügt über einen großen Spiegel und eine große begehbare Dusche mit Glaswand + Schiebetür, rutschfestem Boden , Regendusche und Handbrause. Einfach super. Küchenutensilien und Geschirr war reichlich vorhanden. Obwohl vor dem Haus gelegen, fühlte man sich durch die üppige Bepflanzung auf der Terrasse nicht auf dem Präsentierteller. Wir haben sie viel genutzt. Es gab gleich 2 stabile Liegen und solide Gartenmöbel aus Holz. Es sind nur 7 Gehminuten zum Strand und etwas weiter zu den Geschäften. Für uns optimal.

Liebe Frau Lamberty, vielen Dank, auch für den regen und herzlichen Kontakt mit Ihnen. Es ist immer wieder schön für mich, von meinen Gästen zu hören, dass sie sich in meinem Haus sehr wohl gefühlt und einen herrlichen Urlaub verbracht haben. Da macht es auch Spaß, über Neuerungen und Verbesserungen nachzudenken, so wie mit der neuen tollen Dusche, die meine Gäste glücklich macht. Ich freue mich, wenn Sie im kommenden Jahr wieder meine Gäste sein werden (mit neuer Haus- und Gästebetreuung), das ist dann wie liebe Freunde zu begrüßen.

Wir haben wunderschöne 3 Wochen in diesem Haus verbracht! Es ist mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht, sehr sauber und gepflegt. Der Kontakt war sehr freundlich und bemüht. Auch wurde es möglich gemacht, dass wir schon sehr früh in das Haus hineindurften. Der schöne Sandstrand ist nur ca. 500 Meter entfernt. Auch der Hundestrand ist in der Nähe. Unser Auto ist auch zum Parken auf dem Grundstück zu gross. Für uns aber kein Problem, da es genügend sehr nahegelegene Parkplätze gibt. Das Haus liegt in einer sehr ruhigen Seitenstraße. Besonders schön ist die riesige Palme auf der Terrasse . Acht Urlaube in Narbonne-Plage hat es gedauert, eh wir dieses tolle Haus entdeckt haben. Wir alle (2 Erwachsene, Kind und Hund) haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Vielen Dank liebe Frau Roschmann! Wir kommen wieder!
